As someone who doesn’t really know anything about laptops, this one is perfect for college students! The 2-in-1 folding feature and touch screen are great for taking notes and I have had no problems with the computer running slow. Would definitely recommend!

Most people arent going to see a difference between the Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 versions. In light gaming, it will make almost no difference and the APU isn't powerful enough to do much more. So save your money and get the Ryzen 5 version. In addition, this does not support higher end active pens. It's max sensisltivity is too low, so you can only use the very basic versions. With that in mind, I went with a different laptop. I needed pen compatibility and this didnt suit my needs. The screen is quite nice for the price range and I had minimal back light bleed. Nice build quality.

I have been using this laptop for a while now and I have to say I'm quite impressed. The metal design feels sturdy. Opening Chrome tabs feels snappy and fast. This can also handle some older triple-A title in 720p/1080p in 30fps, which is a great plus. The thermals stay at ~40C idle, and ~63C under heavy load, which I think is pretty good in a 8-core machine. Recommendation: I'd recommend installing the newest updates from AMD. Also recommend upgrading it to 16GBs of RAM since it is upgradable.

Lightning fast speed and my favorite app so far has been the HP Quick Drop to easily and quickly transfer files and pics from my phone to the laptop and back. I’m probably not even using all the capabilities this has but I love it so far!

Love my new laptop. It's light but sturdy and full of quality. The AMD Radeon7 processor is so much faster than my old i3, it'll make your head spin. Now, I log into Zoom meetings in no time. And the graphics are awesome. I'm very happy.

Great new HP laptop! Our old one was twelve years old and was so slow. This new one is like night and day. It is so fast that we can’t hardly believe how quickly it works.

This is my third HP Envy computer. I do love the fact of the 360 and this one had the AMD Ryzen 7. It has finger touch and pin code to unlock which is nice. So many other features. I would recommend this product to anyone.

This laptop is great. Boots up super fast with its SSD. I didn’t even realize that it had a backlit keyboard which was a huge bonus and clinched it for me. I would never want to be without a backlit keyboard again.

Very easy to use and much faster start up than previous HP products I've used. The battery lasts a long time and the memory doesn't seem to get blocked up as fast as the Intel based units since it has a dedicated graphics card

I've enjoyed using this laptop, fan gets noisy even though cpu utilization is not getting by 60%, fingerprint sensor is a little bit buggy when starting from hibernation or reboot. But overall this laptop is great.

I love my Envy. The graphics are beautiful. The laptop is lightweight and easy to carry around. The AMD is the only processor I would use. I have owned many Hp products and I have never been unhappy with any of them.
