I've had this laptop for about 2.5 months, and the first month-and-a-half this PC worked seamlessly! Easily the best laptop I've ever used in terms of bang-for-the-buck. Additionally, it was my first experience with the AMD Ryzen processor and it vastly exceeded my expectations! Now you're probably wondering, why am I giving this a 2-star review? Over the past 4 weeks this thing has been falling apart faster than I can put it back together. I would consider myself a tech-savvy college student who can operate Windows with ease, yet this device had software issues like one wouldn't even believe. It started with the speakers, which went out mid-conference call for my internship. Yes, embarrassing but I managed to resolve the issue with a factory reset as prescribed by my HP Support person. Roughly one week later, my mic went out mid-conference call, which required the laptop to be sent to an HP Repair Center for hardware replacement, and I was without my work/school laptop for a week. I got this device back yesterday from that fiasco, and soon after discovered that my Windows Hello fingerprint scanner was not recognized by the device. After one week without my laptop altogether and two-hours with HP Support, they are asking me to send this device back to the Repair Center, not even 24-hours after receiving the product back. I am only giving this product a 1/5 Quality review because a 0/5 is not possible.

This is the first time I’m using touch screen laptop. So far it’s good. But it’s took me some time to find a screen protector since screen size is not 15.6 inch.

I am thoroughly enjoying my new laptop. Still learning about all its features. It is so much faster than my old one with windows 7. Glad I switched.

Said it would take four days to arrive to the house but showed up the next day. All the computer we need. Fast but still getting use to the operating system.

Great 2 in 1. Very happy with its speed and touchscreen. Storing files and photos in the cloud is wonderful. I am happy to upgrade to total geek squad coverage.

This laptop completely crashed after only 3 months. It was purchased as a work computer, and therefore primarily used for email, Zoom meetings, and spreadsheets- no gaming, video editing or large file downloads. It simply shut down and would not turn back on. Made an appointment with BestBuy's Geek Squad on 12/27, where I was told it would need to be sent off for assessment and repair. It is now 1/13 and the only information available to me is that the service department is in receipt of my computer. Still no idea what is wrong, if it's even been assessed after 2 weeks, or when I may hope to have it returned. I was told an exchange for a working device was not an option. Extremely unhappy with both the unreliability of this particular device and BestBuy's repair service.

Very fast excellent all around. Happy I purchased it. For work and gaming the machine is awesome. First time I buy a laptop with a processor other them intel.

Love this computer, runs smoothly, super easy, love the option to use as normal, or use the touch screen. . .makes searching through pictures super easy.

Very cool. Sleek and easy to transport. Perfect screen size and weight. The backlight makes it easy to view the keyboard. Very nice ease of use.

I'm a college student and needed something to multitask with several programs running simultaneously. With all of my classes being online, this laptop has been very useful. Been reading some reviews about the AMD Ryzen 7 4000 series and haven't had any problems. Although the webcam is okay but love the features of muting your mic and turning off your camera. About 90% of the time, the fingerprint reader works. The display is decent but there is some glare when you're in a very lit environment and color is a little off. Other than that, overall works great!

This is a great product. Does everything I need in a compact and lightweight design. Exactly what I needed for much less than I expected to spend.

Easy to use and I like the keyboard.my daughter likes it better than her computer.I like that is not to small but not to heavy to carry around.

Got off to a rocky start for the first two weeks but after driving back to the Oakdale store twice and consulting with Adam T. of your Geek Squad everything was working very well. That was until last evening, (08/16/2020). When I went to shut the laptop down the start button would not respond so I left it running for around another half hour. The start button was still not responding however I was able to right click it to get to a menu to shut it down. I am experiencing the same problem this morning. When the laptop is running correctly I enjoy using it.

Excellent laptop, it is fast, beautiful and has a very good resolution, I really liked the keyboard lighting.

Perfect for I needed a functional and fast laptop to edit texts and I found it although I had to add a mouse but it works just like the one

Upon getting an actual computer that has been great I really just like the feeling of the HP - Envy. The quality of having touchscreen is amazing.

The speed is incredible. Works great...sometimes fingerprint reader needs two tries, but no biggie. Love the size and weight and battery life.
