Ok... I don’t love much else other than Mac.. my hubby couldn’t use Mac for his programs so I ordered this! Once again proven right To not like Microsoft! Part of the startup is getting personal info including credit card info but claims to not charge!! Well it charged and amazingly Microsoft can’t see where it came from in order to refund it... even though the charge CLEARLY says MICROSOFT on my bank statement!!

Bought laptop last July and had zero issues until this week while my Son was on Zoom for online classroom, Severe audio/speaker conflict with a very high pitch whine noise. From other reviews I have read, this has been an on going problem with Windows 10 and the HP audio driver. Apparently HP is working on a fix or patch but no luck for us yet. Until this problem can be fixed, I would not recommend this Laptop to a friend.

Horrible computer. I hardly ever used my computer because I am on them all day every day for work, so when I did use it, it was only to check emails or maybe surf the internet. About 1 year after purchase I couldn’t connect to Microsoft Edge, the screen kept flipping upside down and then the computer lost some files and would go black. I would reboot and research what others with the same problem did. Took it to a computer repair shop where they put in a new hard drive which didn’t fix the problem, then they said my mother board was fried asked how long had I had the computer, told them a little over a year and then was told that is common with HP computers. So after a year I’m out of $800+. Never again HP

The camera stopped working after three months and I didn't receive any support covered by the store.

Absolute garbage. I've only had this computer for a little over a year, and it has been non stop problems. The first issue was with the wifi adapter that would only work about half the time. Then the touch screen stopped working. I only used this computer for very light schoolwork; I have not done any strenuous operations on it. I took good care of the computer; I only charged it when it was needed, and it was not being thrown around or anything. Just yesterday I had been using it in class, and there was plenty of battery life. Later that night about 5 hours later, the computer does not turn on at all. The charging light indicator also did not turn on when the charger was plugged in. I did nothing at all with the laptop between the time after my class to when I went to use it at home. Just do not buy this piece of garbage laptop. It's overpriced, and it does not even withstand light homework use.

The laptop is very snappy with the new AMD 4000 chip, but HP has serious quality control issues. I've bought and returned at least 4 units. Some had backlight bleeding, keys that didn't work, bent lids, chips in the aluminium body, etc.

This laptop has a problem with the audio failing in Zoom meetings - it was worthless to anyone working from home. HP's website has several complaints of the exact same problem with this model. After spending hours trying to resolve it, they have up and suggested I contact the 2nd tier support, which you have to pay for. On a brand new laptop! Fortunately, it was within Best Boy's return window and they accepted it back. Also, never accept the 'free' bundled anti-virus software because if you have to return the laptop, you pay for the software.

Before you buy an HP ENVY x360, google HP ENVY x360 Hinge defect. There is a defect with the hinge. It will wear away and break. HP will not repair. This computer needs to be recalled. Read how many people bought this and had the hinge break. Cost to repair, hundreds-for a defect. There needs to be a class action lawsuit. HP will not fix these for free.

Too heavy. Big screen plush Not sexy looking. Clunkish. I as ok functioning but 900 too much. A much cheaper could do the same, be lighter, transport easier and keyboard be more compact.

Purchased this item to upgrade from my 7 yr old 17" HP due to Covid work at home requirements. I chose the AMD Ryzen 4000 series 7 chip because it was suggested that Autocad would run faster than on an Intel i7 . In fact, this computer is intolerably slow, and often restarts itself for no apparent reason. Even looking at relatively small drawings or PDFs is maddening.

Spent way more on money than I expected, but was told it was a great laptop. Within a couple days, the open box item I bought no longer had audio. So I took it to GeekSquad and was told the audio driver was missing and my best option was to get a new one. Ordered it to be delivered to my house, that came in a timely manner, but within a couple days, audio kept dropping out in the middle of lectures. I needed something that was reliable and I've always been happy with HP, but returned this one and got a Lenovo that was cheaper and works amazing!!!

Asked to have material on old computer transferred to new laptop. Only about half was transferred. Also cannot figure out how to receive emails on new laptop. We need help.silence

This is a sleek computer that looks good however we end up returning it. The back lighting of the keyboard was very dim and there are no options to increase the intensity. The back light would also not stay on you had to touch your key before the backlighting turned on. Also the computer could not handle YouTube for the most part. We ended up reinstalling the audio drivers reinstalling the video drivers just kept crashing. I believe a computer should not need updating upon first taking it out of the box.

This is a great laptop if you like retuning items! I got this laptop thinking I’ve owned an HP before saying “hey, this is a reliable brand whose products I can rely on!” Boy was I wrong. I’ve gone through a total of 5 of these laptops each one having one problem after another. If you’re goal is to become extremely frustrated and basically asking to lose your mind this is a great choice. I’ve returned this laptop so many times I know the workers quite well at my store so it’s a good way to meet new people

Less than a year and get an error where cannot boot the computer as it states no hard drive is present. need to send if for warranty claim already.

Haven't bought anything from them in a long time. Lets just say it will be a very long time again. 40 days after purchase laptop stops working. Take back to store and they say it will be $400 to fix and 1 month. Never mentioned HP warranty which is 1 year. Have to deal with HP and will be without the unit for 5-10 biz days to get the faulty product fixed. Problem is most likely a blown mother board. Laptop worked fine while it worked, alas 40 days is not good.

It worked fine the first time but I should have known that this was a new computer that didn’t have much ratings before purchasing it. When I turned it on the Second time it would not start. The led light indicates that it’s on and fully changed on the side of the computer however I tried every with way to turn it on but it never turned on the second time. I was just glad I got my full refund before the deadline or else I really would have been mad
