Mic when out when doing routine windows 10 update.

The computer stopped working twice within the first two weeks—it froze and made a loud buzzing noise. Best Buy took the return but had no more of that computer in stock and were quite unhelpful in finding an alternate. Would not honor the sales prices we had received two weeks prior to current computer purchase.

Many issues with the battery needing to calibration issues.

The first week of purchasing the laptop had to bring it back they tried to fix it They could not so they exchanged it for the same brand the second week had to return it and at that time I requested that they give us a different one for the same price. Not a good experience, but y’all did make it right

Has locked up during zoom making a loud buzzing noise. So far unimpressed

Returned twice hoping it was a hardware issue. When using zoom it will cause the fan to buzz and lockup the laptop. Only way to resolve is a hard reset. Reached out to HP support to only be upsold to a paid support tier. Unbelievable.

Support from HP is terrible. Purchase for school and can not use this for video online class. Had to hire a computer tech after having it 4 days new. This still didn't resolve the problem. Keeps licking up and have to use my old pc. HP does not know anything. Don't buy this computer.

The audio and microphone will continually cut out and make a loud buzzing noise until a forced shutdown is completed. Called HP several times and their support team tries to update everything but just can’t figure it out. First and last time I will ever buy HP. Stay away!

Had some issues out of the box and had to be returned

Broken internal microphones seem to be a common trend with HP. After trying every available fix nothing has worked. And the bloatware that this PC comes with is on par with most others, but is still despicable.

its not even a month and the speakers and microphone are not working. I chatted with support and he started working on it and then left the chat abruptly.

I read a few reviews about the microphone issues...I decided to chance it anyway. Big mistake. It crapped out 3 days after the return window. Luckily they took it back and I got a full refund BUT learn from my mistake.

Exchanged our initial purchase, tried a 2nd; conclusion - HP Envy has serious sound card issues. Locks up, with audio alarm, during online classes, not good!!! Unreliable.

This laptop has a broken microphone and the customer service didn’t help me with this . Regret buying this laptop.

It keeps losing internet connection when nothing is wrong with the network. So expensive to just lose internet connection. Not worth it

The computer does not have an ethernet port. The wifi capability is greatly lacking. I could not watch YouTube videos without it lagging.

My computer is switching screens automatically and I cannot use it. I'll be making arrangements to go to Geek Squad and/or return it.

Purchased 3 months ago. Laptop no longer powers on.

After two weeks the screen was flickering and doing an intermittent loud humming noise.
