My mom was so happy to receive this Christmas Day. She had no idea I was getting her a laptop, and so far she loves it. The setup was easy for her, the specs aren’t too high which she only needed this to go back to school so no complaints there. The guy at BestBuy recommended this particular laptop to me as I explained that my mom needed one to go back to school with.

Awesome. Fast and responsive. Bought for on the go gigging with ableton live so I need a beastly machine. For the price I paid $720 it was a steal. Upgraded ram to 16gb for $60 and now have a future proof workhorse. Cons I indeed wish screen was brighter Backlit keyboard very bright around keys when looked at from angle

This laptop is so much faster than my older one was. The lighted keyboard is great.

Perfect for a college student. Easy to use. Nice backlit keyboard and touchscreen and folding option is nice. The issue is that my microphone does not work. I do not know if it’s a hardware or software problem. Everything else works fine and is great except the microphone. Wouldn’t expect this from a laptop this expensive.

Great laptop. Feels good, keyboard sounds cool, screen is big and crisp. It has a metal shell which is honestly what you should look for in a laptop if you're willing to pay enough for it. The sound is amazing, the speakers look pretty cool. It overall is a beautiful laptop. The screen may feel a little dim sometimes but it's nothing I would worry about if I were you. It doesn't heat up too much, I play games like Dead by Daylight and Destiny and it just gets kinda warm. It's loud sometimes but not annoyingly loud, only when you run games on it or big programs in general. There's no ethernet so if you need that, get an adapter. It has an HDMI and two USB ports as well as 3.5mm (headphone) and usb-type-c ports. The camera is eh, it's grainy. A lot of laptops don't have a pristine camera so it's whatever but if you want a good camera like what your phone has, this won't have it. I just like how it lets you turn it off and puts a little white cover over it, same with the microphone you can turn that off too which is nice. It is a touch screen, and it can be buggy when you wanna draw but I'm sure there's ways around it. Aside from that, I highly recommend it, it's a beautiful laptop with a lot of space and a very good, sharp screen.

This laptop has proven to fit the bill for all my needs. It’s thinner, sleeker than my last laptop. It’s powerful enough to allow my to update my website, and sort through a database of 5K+ items with a few clicks. I can download movies, check emails, and work in Office and Quickbooks. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

Excellent computer for the price! Easy to set up. No issues and very fast

I went to the Menomonee Falls store not knowing what I wanted in a laptop and the staff helped me get the HP Envy. I love it! It's easy to operate, has a backlit keyboard, large soft touch keys, a great picture and is exactly what I need for at home and the occasional work from home, Plus, the price was right. Beautiful picture and great sound. I definitely would recommend it!

This has been a good laptop. The numbers keypad is a nice add but not sure it's worth the increase in size/weight. We did have some issues with aux cables working for headphones but it was resolved with a reboot. My son loves that it is a touchscreen and feels the speakers are pretty good. All around a solid laptop for a kid who needs one for school.

Solid laptop. Responsive. Battery life seems acceptable. If you are going to upgrade the RAM to 16GB from 8GB, be aware that you'll need to remove the existing 2 RAM sticks that make up the current 8GB, as both slots are filled in a 2x4GB configuration. Only drawback I've seen. Have not used much in tablet or touchscreen modes, so cannot comment on that.

Great specs for price, ram upgrade was a quick and easy. I bought this specifically knowing that I would be upgrading the ram right away. Runs a little hot but as long as I’m not placing it on my lap while using it’s fine. Screen is not the best in bright settings. No trouble running multiple programs at once but the fan can get loud at times. Full keyboard is a plus.

I needed a new laptop due to working from home. Although this one was a bit out of my price range, it has been amazing! It is so fast, battery life is good, and since I work with graphics.. it handles photoshop great too. Love this laptop and so glad I went with the Ryzen 7!

It's a solid laptop. Good CPU and GPU, runs well on most games. Track pad isn't the best, the mouse doesn't move as smooth as I would like but it does the job. Display is a bit weird, the colors can sometimes be too dark or too bright depending your preference, and the brightness doesn't go down as far as I would like, but it can be bright. The right control key is replaced with the fingerprint scanner which is alright but would have preferred if the scanner was just placed separate from the keyboard. My biggest nitpick is the material the laptop is made of, it attracts smudges so easily and the smudges aren't difficult to notice, fortunately, a very slightly damp cloth can easily remove the smudges.
