I got this as a replacement for my defective Lenovo which had better specs on paper. This computer runs better considering it only has an i5 compared to my previous i7. This one runs cooler, battery lasts longer, and the touch screen is more responsive. My only complaint are the speakers but it's not worth knocking a star off. Overall a great computer.

Since my other computer died after 6 years I was in great need of a new fully functional computer. Hopefully long lasting with a good battery. As a college student I am taking many online courses and even the ones that aren't require my use of a reliable computer. My new Envy has gotten me through my first week of school without question and I would recommend this computer to others. It's light weight, quiet, the keys light up for convenience, and it is multifunctional.

I use this for my home business and it's everything except disappointing. Fast, powerful, sleek and did I mention touch screen!!!

I prefer Macs, but needed a larger HD and didn't want to spend several thousand on one. I had bought low-cost Windows machines in the past and was never satisfied. This unit is fast, has a good touch screen, and a large hard drive. I am very satisfied.

Best laptop purchase I have ever made. This laptop is built extremely well and is very solid for as thin as it is. The metal case feels and looks great. The 360 touch screen performs great. I only wish it came with an ssd or sshd hard drive. It is fast but would be top notch with an ssd hd installed. I am a programmer and mobile app developer and the full 1080 HD resolution is great as well. Cant go wrong with this series laptop.

I love this HP laptop! It is easy to use for a non-techy person. It is fast. The sound quality is great with excellent speakers which allow me to listen to music while working on documents. The Geek Squad also helped me a great deal transferring data from my old laptop to the new one.

I bought this at best buy 3 months ago, i wasn't sure whether to buy a new piece or refurbished on this type of laptops. but, in the end i bought a refurbished with $150 less to the original price, i see it as brand new. it is working great, speed, it has got different style to flip 360 degrees. good speaker sound. can't get better than this. It was good deal for a good product.

This laptop is awesome - I'm a teacher and the computer/touch screen were great I had problems writing on the screen - I teach math and use it to present solving problems. It kept detecting my hand. I went through 3 stylus pens - nothing worked for me. Apparently there are some expensive stylus/programs you can buy to disable hand recognition - but I haven't had luck. Laptop - awesome, lightweight, quick, stable, etc

purchased this laptop about 3 months ago mostly to help with my son's school work but it has turned into the household laptop. Schoolwork, photos, browsing the internet Its easy to use, battery last quite a while. love the tablet conversion on it too. very portable. very happy with purchase. there are still some features I haven't figured out but that's because I haven't taken the time to look into them.

Great computer with a lot of great features to set itself apart from other manufacturers; there is a cooling coil element in the computer in lieu of the old fan style; this keeps the computer cooler while on your lap and there is no noise; also, no need to work about the fan getting dirty and having to clean it. The 2 in 1 laptop and touch-screen pad is very cool; however, it would have been nice if they would have had some way to protect the keys and key board face when switching over to the pad feature; the key board is exposed to damage if care is not taken.

I love my laptop. I'very been waiting to get a good one. After Christmas Best Buy had a up to 50% off on open or clearance. I was looking at one because of the price. It wasn't what I really wanted and a manager showed me this HP envy and it had a keyboard black Light, it flips all the way around. And it has a 10 key pad. It's fast and even touch screen.

Great laptop for normal activities such as browsing internet, streaming music and videos, managing finances & photos, etc. Touch screen is nice feature and convenient for switching between laptop & tablet mode, especially to resize or zoom in on photos or web pages. Overall very pleased with this laptop so far.

I was wary at first about getting a laptop computer. However, after looking at the HP Envy, I decided to give it a try. I really like the quickness of the keyboard and am getting used to the touch mouse, which is taking a little time after coming from a desk top computer. This computer is much faster in processing and I like that a lot. I will give this computer 5 stars any day.

We bought the i7 HP Envy for our son who is going into Engineering in college and liked it enough to purchase the i5 HP Envy for the kids at home to use for their high/middle school homework and general home use. It is a good-sized laptop in terms of screen size and keyboard, but light enough to easily transport. The touchscreen is a handy alternative to the mouse/touchpad.

I waited for this one to come in and picked it up in stores because I wanted it sooo bad! and it was worth the wait. I love that the keyboard lights up, watching Netflix is a great experience because its so HD, and I have Sims 4 and it is never slow! The only thing is it does not have a disc drive I wish I would have known before I bought it but thats my fault!
