This computer is really good although if it is dropped the possible of a cracked screen or the screen popping out all together is very high. In this case the touch aspect of it will go crazy and "touch" on its own.

I like having a # pad, I like the lighted up keys, when needed; I like that I can use it as a tablet, I'm enjoying the touch screen, and being able to make all bigger.

This laptop is easy to use. The battery life is very good! I also enjoy that you are able to use it as a tablet. It is a larger 2 in 1, so if you are looking for something smaller I would not recommend it, but it was everything I wanted.

As a whole not a bad machine but setting printers and linking did not go smoothly. Could not get printer linked to USPS website to print postage. Hours on the phone with Geek Squad. Everything working well now.

I bought this laptop a little over a year ago and it's one of my best purchases. I upgraded to this laptop from a very old, run down one. I was hesitant going to Windows 10, but I have to say, it was the right decision.

Even though I bought this laptop open box it's been tested buy The Geek Squad and only had a couple scratches Onnit the previous person trying to pull stickers off. The laptop works great and definitely recommend this laptop.

My daughter needed a reliable laptop for college, and since she previously owned one by this manufacturer we wanted to remain with this brand. The previous one was excellent and we propose this later model will be even better!

Sleek look. Admittedly, I'm not the most computer literate person around. The average rating is for two things, one minor, the other very annoying. First, the lip around the edge is kind of sharp. Also, I love the sleek look, but the metal and touch pad are pretty cold to handle in the morning. More seriously, sometimes when waking up from sleep mode, the touch pad is unresponsive, and the pointer jets all over the screen, randomly opening and shutting whatever it lands on. There is no recovering, other than to do a reboot. After the reboot, it works just fine.

Runs all basic programs Netflix Easy flip to tablet although I have not used much. Sound is a huge plus with this computer Bought on sale with educator discount so saved 400 dollars

Great laptop that can do all the basic stuff (surf the web, watch videos, etc.) but can get a little slow at more intensive stuff like having multiple tabs or programs open at once. Would recommend for college students.

great transition from W7 toshiba satellite. I use a hefty specialized software program almost all the time on it so that drains the battery quicker than normal, but I expected that. great laptop

Really love my new Envy computer. Until it was damaged by a neighbor of mine. Now my touch screen is all messed up and HP couldn't or didn't fix it. Now I have a computer that works sometimes.

I've just come back to Windows after 8 years of using a Mac. I must say I'm not missing the Mac that much. Speedy start up, snappy computing, I'm happy. It is a bit large, but what would you expect with a number pad.

Tons of great features! Working well for me except I had to buy an optical reader to watch DVDs. I also wish the backlit keyboard was brighter and the number lock key had a light. So far, these are my only negatives.

This hp is a good laptop. It's my first touch screen and I'm not to wild about it. It works well, but my kids touch the screen while in typing on the keyboard and it messes up what I'm doing.

I love my new hp envy! I bought it for minor school work and mostly play. The speakers on it are great for music and videos. I love the flexibility of the screen and being able to use this as a tablet when needed!

Purchased this as a replacement for an older machine. Can't say enough good things. Quick to boot up and quick to shutdown, two things that really annoyed me on the old machine. Works great in either mode.

It takes a little getting used to, changing from desktop to laptop, but it is going OK so far. Nice to have a wireless printer. Using computer anywhere in the house is a real plus.

So I took this baby out for a spin and was impressed for a minute or two. It's light weight, looks good, has some of the input and output sockets necessary and a great display. Then it happened, there is no cat 5 input so what you say. If you travel and staying in hotel that have wired internet connection this input is necessary. And this unit doea not have a battery door so good by spare battery. Just some thoughts.
