I have had the computer for only a few months but have had lots of difficulties. 1. there is no cd/dvd drive 2. the touch screen, mouse, and pad compete with each other and you never know which will work, ie. you are using the mouse and it seems to quit so you try touch which works for a little while then you have to switch back to another mode 3. switching from laptop to tablet is difficult because you have to go back and forth to get either to function. 4. the keyboard skips around and will just add in letters or number or spaces to documents that have not typed

Bought the computer in September, 2 weeks later the computer would not shut down or start up. I called the Hp company and made a claim. I was told that the computer was perfectly fine. Two to three weeks later my computer would run slow. Long story- short , i took it to best buy Geek Squad and they discovered that my hard-drive is bad. Only had the computer 1 month and it's already bad. This 15 day policy for exchange or refund at best buy needs to change.

The laptop would not open any Microsoft apps. I had to pay an extra $40.00 to have Best Buy to do a factory reset. I was very upset to have this new laptop and it didn't work from day 1.

Only problem has been a continuous problem of booting up the laptop. I have to try to boot it 4 to 5 times before it finally turns on for use. It is in for service with Geek Squad.

this is an okay tv for my child but I would not buy it for me. I would much rather buy I nice tv and than a usb wifi capable device to download apps to

It's a bit difficult to navigate through everything being I'm not exactly computer illiterate otherwise I think it would be great for anyone else

good laptop it crashes every now and then and it's a little slow sometimes but besides that it keeps all of my data and gets the job done

The laptop works well -- or would if it was not Windows 10 powered. Quirky, unstable, unable to move programs over from the dead hard drive on the old machine are just the beginning. It loses the wifi printer frequently. It takes Chrome forever to start, when it does. Blows away the bookmarks at will. The OS is not fit for man nor beast. Other than that, fast charging, great screen. Switch from CD to thumb drives is no biggie.

Good laptop, my sons use it for homework and studying, only issue is it heats up pretty quickly if you are streaming video or games

Great student laptop, however only my first month and I already feel like it doesn't keep up with my architecture work.

Works very well. The Windows 10 / Bing system is less desirable than windows 7. Otherwise it works very nicely.

I brought my HP ProBook back to the Geek Squad for repair service. It was determined that the CPU was no longer good and it was recommended that I replace my computer. Since I originally purchased my ProBook and my entire network of computers for my company from Best Buy I asked them to recommend an exact replacement for the machine I had. Unfortunately the HP - Envy that was recommended was like operating a bicycle compared to a motorcycle. I gave no price parameters to the salesman just that it had to do everything and perform like my old computer(2011). I was assured rather nonchalantly that this new computer could easily perform as well as my old machine. Additionally, I could no longer use the type of docking station I was accustomed too but that a new dock was available. The new dock required that I plug in as many cables each time I used it as it would to plug in the new laptop so I passed on that option. I was so frustrated I finally searched for, an found a used duplicate of my old computer. I will be returning the HP Envy.

sometimes it runs slowly but is good otherwise. I wish I would've known that it didn't have a cd opening

Works perfect except the constant restart and updates I recently purchased this and its had to update and restart about 5 times where I am unable to use the laptop for about 30 to 45 minutes. Also the battery life terrible, you constantly need it plugged into the charger. dies super fast and the updates are killing me for the little i use this.

Battery life is unacceptable. I thought portability was one of reasons you purchase a laptop.

As expected from a latptop but after a month am noticing every other day double pictures.

The displya is top notch. There is a heating problem but we can ignore that.

Everything works well except touch pad...Configuration is great within prize.

I think hp is one of the best laptop brands, at least thats what i think

Takes to long to charge. My cell phone operates faster. Very heavy.
