Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the ENVY x360's touchscreen capabilities, ease of use, and lightweight design. Many appreciate its performance and the ample memory, while some found the battery life to be a positive aspect. However, a few customers reported issues with the hard drive. The price point also seems to be generally well-received.

Error message the 1st time turning it on!

Our old HP laptop (6 years old) began shutting down randomly and giving us an error message on the cooling fan not working so we made the decision to purchase a new laptop rather than send it off for repairs. Because we apparently lack all common sense, we purchased another HP and the very FIRST time we turned it on we received the SAME error message as our old laptop. We have since vowed to never purchase HP again. We returned it the next day and purchased the Lenovo Yoga 700 and have been very happy with that.

I was led to this computer because the clerk said for processing speed, HP was the best.. That is not true. My 13 year old Dell still outdoes the HP.

We bought this computer for my son for college. From the time he turned it on we had problems. It kept stating that it had encountered a problem and needed to shut down. After having previous laptops that constantly had this same error message, we decided to return it the next day. We decided to spend the extra money and get a MacBook. We have 2 other Macs and have not and any issues with them. One of them is 5 years old.

I like the fact that I got this at a good price. I dont like the fact that it was defective. i had it less than a week before the buttons on the keyboard got stuck or just didnt work. geek squad had it almost 3 weeks before i got an email saying they couldnt fix or it would be bette for thm to just replace it. Not worth the headache of loosing money. (I work frm home and use a laptop to do so)

Beautiful laptop. Really. A few hours after I got it set up it froze. I couldn't restart, couldn't open anything. Returning tomorrow. I should have known not to buy an HP after the problems I had with their printers years ago.

    Defective Hinge

The left hinge of the laptop broke under a year under normal wear and tear. HP Refuses to cover it, in fact they damaged it more after it was sent for repair. I bought the laptop for $680, they want $620 to repair the hinge. I work in IT professionally, II would not recommend this product either personally or professionally.

Bought this laptop for my son for college. The first one had a bad mouse pad. So we exchanged it for another one. The second one had a "bad fan" error right out of the box. So returned the second one and bought a Mac.

After a 4 or 5 months I went back to Best Buy and bought a Dell, I thought it was slow, in all fairness it may have been my connection, but the one thing I could not get used to was the sharp edges, made it difficult to rest your hand on the computer to use the keypad

I was excited with the purchase and went to set it up later that night, but it was stuck in a software loop that wouldn't let me go past the initial setup. I did go back to the store and exchanged it for a different laptop and the customer service there was awesome.

I've had lots of problems with this laptop. The first one did not boot up so we exchanged it for another. Three weeks afterwards started having problems. Waited a few days too long to return so have spent 3 days on the phone with HP. Here's hoping for the best....

There is always a problem with this machine. Drivers on my first, and god knows what's wrong with it now, continually freezes. I am on my second one in less than a month. Has put me off of HP products, Microsoft, as well as Best Buy

Very expensive to last only 2 years. Screen went out and only allowed me to connect to external screen a couple times. Geek Squad thinks it is a bad motherboard.
