Having trouble with WiFi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this only 1 month and I keep getting kicked off the internet. Have another laptop that does not have this issue, only this one. Very frustrating. Have gone thru HP chat with marginal help. Hope it will improve as they are usually a reputable company.

Overall fine. Touch screen not as responsive as pe
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. But the ABSOLUTELY most infuriating thing is the webcam doesn't work, there are no drivers and this is an apparently well known problem. Ive tried all the DIY fixes and nada need to bring it in. Cause who doesn't have spare time?

Lower end clunker
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given the i5 processor it is sow but fast enough for simple online and office operations. Battery life is not enough to last even through an online videos. Someone decided to put On/Off button right next to a USB port, so when using USB port it is almost inevitable to push that power button and turn the laptop off. Genius. Wi-Fi module isn't that great either, keeps having connectivity issues. USB ports are tight, using them is a workout. I suspect ports will be ruined within six month. Wish I could return it but I am outside of 15 day window. Screen is bright and clear, sound is outstanding.

First impression dont always last.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the wide keyboard, the numeric keyboard on the side fingerprint reader the fat tht I can use it in both tablet mode and laptop mode but I had to return on day 13 after my purchase. The fingerprint reader worked sometimes did not work other time. There was one day the screen was not responding to touch so I had to turn it off and start it over. On the 13th day of having this product I connected my phone to the laptop (via usb) and the laptop screen went black, it just went dead. I tried multiple times to turn it on but it was unresponsive so I definitely returned it.

Fluke?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a new HP - ENVY x360 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive computer on 7/28/2019 at our local Best Buy. My son (who will be using it for college) started using it a few weeks later (8/16/2019) for school and it started having issues with the screen going blank for 45 minutes or so and he couldn’t turn it off with the power button. Over the next week or so, the problem worsened and it would be 2 to 3 hours before he was able to use it again. He took it to Best Buy and was told that because it was purchased on sale, there was no 1 year standard HP warranty and it could only be replaced through Best Buy within the first 2 weeks. They said it was probably a problem with the mother board and it would be $125 to $225 to fix. It was on sale when purchased, there was another discount because he is a student, and it was tax-free weekend in our state. They didn’t specify which discount voided the warranty. I told him to take it back to Best Buy and pay have it fixed. Fortunately, I contacted him before he did and told him I would do some research first. I contacted HP and found out it was still under their 1 year warranty. The same day, 7/28/2019, my wife purchased the same computer for my daughter since we thought it was such a good deal. We’ve had issues with that one also, but she is writing her own review. I’ve owned HP computers before and haven’t had any major issues. Obviously they would not still be in business if they only produced products like the one I purchased. However, I would advise customers to read some reviews before purchasing this specific laptop.
