BEWARE

Don't take my word for it, go to the community forum for HP products. I have only had my laptop for a year and 8 months. It worked beautifully. I only used it for school. Stored it closed on a desk. Never dropped it. I went to open it last Friday and heard this crack and crunch. The hinge has broken and pulled the screen away from the back of the laptop. On the forum, there are repeated stories of the same thing. HP offers NO SUPPORT!! There is even a class action lawsuit in the works for this problem. I was on the phone with HP for over an hour yesterday, transferred 7 times with no resolve. They want me to pay for their design flaw. IF you decide to buy, purchase atleast a 2 year warranty. However, I have also read on the forum that this will not cover this issue from certain customers. BEWARE. Now I'm out of an expensive laptop that is supposedly "durable" and forced to buy another to use for school.

Happy With experience of purchasing an HP Envy 15”

What we needed included transfer of all files your old computer to the new, and set up of all programs.How’s the sales people and the geek squad a first rate helping us with all the issues. I am very happy with my new HP computer, and everything is working fine. Screen quality of the HP ENVY 15” laptop is superb.

Great overall, lousy screen

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't fault this laptop on its overall performance, but as a photographer who uses the PC mostly for photo editing, the screen brightness and color accuracy were sub-par. Another issue is that vertical striations are very obvious (but only if you look close enough). If graphics are important, steer clear. Otherwise for everyday use, I'd definitely recommend it.
