Well built, good value when on sale.

Thin, not particulary light. Good value when on sale. Some HP bloatware to remove. Memory and SSD size is the minimum acceptable for modern laptops. Battery life could be better, but that is typically a challenge for these thin laptops

Great productive laptop

HP always a were great computers for us. I can’t speak much about the hinges, but we have warranty on it so in case it did break that covers it. It’s enough speed and power for her needs.

It is used mainly for work, web pages displayed through a VPN so it isn't very taxing. She also plays videos and general web browsing. I hear it plays games decently but I wouldn't know anything about that.

This laptop does everything I need and so much more! I use this computer for work and playing Sims and it runs like a dream. I recommend this laptop to all my friends that are looking into buying a laptop. If you are thinking about buying it go for it!

After test driving a 17.3", my son opted to get one and give this 15.6" to his mom. the 15.6" has similar attributes as its larger brother, but just a smaller screen. The quality made it an easy choice to stay with the HP product family.

Performs Well

Moreover, I purchased the silver model and light reflects off the keyboard. While in Zoom meetings, if I turn the sound up, I get a lot of residual noise. I also wish there were more USB ports. It is fast and was easy to set up.
