Couldn't use laptop after about a month because the screen started messing up right in the middle of the screen

A few problems with data transfer and the latest Windows 10 update. The Geek Squad got everything running.

Purchased this laptop on Sept. 5. Hooked it up Sept. 6. There is a yellow cloud like strip at the lower left corner of the screen. The longer it is on there are some brown spots that appear in that area. Called Best Buy lastnight to see if they would refund or exchange it and the woman said to bring it in and they will look at it. So, I will be taking it back today.

Picked this up for my son. He uses it for school, but also good enough for him to game on.

I was hesitant at first to but an HP but as of now it seems to be a good machine

This one was a lemon. Best Buy worked on it but they could not fix it.

The mouse gets stalled at times but overall the product is decent.

very happy with it so far, will tell my family and friends.

It has very good technology. I would recommend this product.

Its an ok laptop. But I hate its Windows 10. Oh well!

Computer is good for what you get. No problems yet

1. BROUGHT 1ST PC AND IT RAN TOO SLOW. 2. EXCHANGED IT FOR ANOTHE RPC FOR $300 MORE AND IT RUNS JUST AS SLOW. 3. MY OLD WORK PC RUNS MUCH FASTER.

I needed the best computer I could find as I am an engineer in training and will need to run multiple programs but it has been freezing and needs to restart using basic everyday apps. I am nervous about how it will handle larger applications.

So let me start off by saying this computer is outstanding in almost every aspect, the aluminum, the back-lighted keys the responsiveness of the touchpad, the 7-8 hour battery life, the USB-c port which in my opinion if computers don't have by now they are worthless. This computer is a BEAST with 12 gigs of ram and the Iris 540 graphics which can play many modern games (with good graphics at that) the device does have a few things I have come to dislike... 1: No smart pen support... what's the point of having tablet mode if I can't use a pen? I would take off half a star just for this if I could. 2. The caps lock, and the mute button both have indicator lights on the keyboard when they are activated/inactivated.... why doesn't the number lock... I hate guessing if it's on or not because i hit it by mistake often. 3. The speakers are good, but they aren't what I would consider premium, granted I only paid $700 (From the student discount) for it I was a bit disappointed by the output BUT they were better than the majority of laptops. that being said, when you bend the laptop into presentation or tablet mode all the sound is muffled, I guess you could call it a design flaw. 4. The back lighted keyboard is great, but why isn't the space bar lighted, still can't figure that one out... All in all a magnificent computer, if you can get it at a great price ( and you aren't an artist) GET IT!!!! you won't be sorry.

Laptop randomly goes to black screen. Called HP and told it was a software issue. Reloaded software. Issue not resolved. Called Tech Support and now sent the machine in for "repairs". Hoping I get a reliable machine back.

I returned my first Envy 15 days after purchase. The screen wouldn't come on when it was opened. I had to force shutdown, lose all data and restart. It only took 3 days to return the second one. I now have an Asus and am very happy. HP your quality has dramatically declined. I have always had HP computers. Never again.

There was an audible noise coming from the hard drive. Returned it and bought a Samsung instead...

From the moment I turned it on, it has problems. My wife says it's possessed. Screens switch in size, without touching keys, goes to Tools section. I called HP and the Tech updated the bios and changed the parameters of the "display setting." Still behaves like it's possessed. I'm probably going to return it to BestBuy and buy a Dell. I'm spooked on the Envy - better stick with what I had before. Sorry for the bad review.

This computer has been very user unfriendly. Everything has been difficult to load. Problems with all software.

This computer was the worst selection I have every made! Blue screen of death upon startup. Returned for another of the same model and just as bad! Exchanged for different brand! Thank GOD for Best Buy and the service they provide! The Geek Squad rocks and will help you anyway they can!
