Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the fast performance, touch screen, lightweight design, and reasonable price of the ENVY x360 laptop. They appreciate its speed, clear display, portability, and value for money. However, customers are negative about the fan noise, average battery life, weight, overheating issues, and limited number of USB ports. They mention that the fan can be loud during normal use, the battery life could be better, it is heavier than expected, it can overheat when charging while in use, and it could use more USB ports.

Needed this laptop for graphic designing what can I say it does the job well. Portable, battery lasts for 8 hrs. Adobe software, the processor works fine, over heats a bit but a cooling fan on the bottom helps aside. Def recommend for online college or design in general.

It took two tries- the first laptop had a defect and wouldn't turn on day two, however Best Buy immediately took it back and sent me a brand new laptop the next day. This product is great for both work and personal use. It is fast, has excellent sound, and features a nice big screen. Very happy that I tried again!

I love my laptop. Its fast and has been a real joy. My only wish is that the built in webcam were a little better and the control pad was more refined. The pad isn't a big deal because I prefer a mouse. The webcam is not nearly as good as the logitech one that I use on my desktop. Overall, very satisfied.

This was purchased for E learning and has been great. The battery does not seem to last as long as I would hope, but I also know we do things that do not optimize how long it will last like screen brightness and keyboard backlighting.

I really like this laptop. So far i haven't had any real issues with it other than the fact that when it turns into a tablet, I don't want to put it on the desk to write cause I'm paranoid about the keys. Also its too big as a tablet in my own opinion. But its really good on performance and running games.

Bought to replace my Dell 2n1. Nice laptop. Happy with my purchase. I don't like keyboard layout, that is my only complaint about this laptop, difficult for a fadt typist. Battery life is not the best, but not an issue because I don't use it remotely.

Love my new laptop. I was hesitant about getting an HP laptop since my HP desktop died a while back. So far I love this HP laptop. It has all the features my Dell touchscreen did and more. Picture is beautiful. Backlit keyboard is wonderful. I only wish there were protective covers for this model.

Only had this thing for about a week now, but so far, I love it. Very fast. The finger print recognition is a first for me on a laptop. Tablet mode is also great for being on the go. I am a project manager so being able to use this laptop as a tablet in the field makes it so much easier. Would highly recommend.

I am really looking forward to using all its capabilities. I definitely recommend this laptop for its performance and design.

Pretty solid built mid point 2 in 1 laptop with good features including the finger print login and control for webcam on/off. Run pretty fast too with sharp screen. Reason for 4 star is because of the loud fan than the other laptop that I have used in the past and the base definitely felt hot!

I've needed a good laptop for a while now, something that would be able to handle my adobe programs like photoshop and illustrator. The screen is nice and crisp, the colors are amazing and the speed is excellent! I havent used the touch screen as much yet, I do want to get a digital pen that I can use with it.

Bought this HP Envy to replace an HP that was 8 years old. I’m glad I did and shouldn’t have waited as long as I did. The touch screen and screen flip feature is very handy. One thing I missed while researching was that it has B & O speakers. Huge upgrade over the AL speakers in my old laptop.

Moving from a Dell Inspiron to this was a huge upgrade. Both are 15.6” but this laptop moves quicker in startup and task completions. I don’t like the highly sensitive touchscreen and touchpad. Simply putting too much weight from my right hand on the touchpad made the browser exit out of the middle of an exam. The presinstalled gaming apps like candy crush were also frowned upon because that’s wasted space on something I’d never use. You’ll have to work through the settings, as with most electronics, to make it your own but they’re easy to find. There’s an issue with the Microsoft 365. I thought all computers come with the basics of Word, Excel, etc. but I keep getting messages saying I need to purchase Office. Now I know that’s not true, Office 365 is a premium service. So constantly being asked and forced to the website for purchase is extremely annoying. Small things like that make this a 4 star laptop to me. I haven’t had it long and it’s still better than what I was using before.

Easy setup. Great features. Meets the needs for most any basic user. Easy out of box experience. Setup and easy to begin use. Recommend to adjust the screen timeout - way too short! I love the display. Still getting acclimated to the tablet mode but otherwise great experience thus far!

Not sure if I would buy again. It moved my programs from my other laptop to my new one easily, but Edge Browser would not open. My main complaint is a problem with the cursor disappearing when using Google Browser. HP support tried to fix but could not. It is a problem with touch screens with Google that has existed for some time with no fix from Google or HP. HP said they were not aware of the problem, but if you search, you find endless complaints, Believe that it is Googles problem. Touch pad is to large and causes me to hit it while keying and makes it jump to somewhere else on the page. Changed settings on the touch pad so it is less sensitive but still a problem for me. Maybe its just me. Would only recommend after sharing my issues and let them decide.

I love love this computer. It has all the features I need, the number pad on the right, and it's fast with enough memory for everything I need it for. I manage marketing, edit videos, open multiple browsers (up to 10 at a time) and don't have problems with slow down.

We returned this right away because the fan makes noise pretty much non-stop (even when nothing is running). It is very distracting. There is a setting to make it quieter, which works. but it never completely goes away. For this price I would expect it to be much quieter.
