Based on good reviews, I purchased this laptop and picked it today. Laptop looks very good, light weight and I was really impressed initially. But after few hours, I am hearing a shrill noise from fan which is very annoying. I am going to update the operating systems now and will observe for one more day, if still the noise is there I will return the laptop. Wish HP had addressed this issue during testing in testing phase

I bought this to replace a 5 year old laptop, and what a difference! The fingerprint login & backlit keyboard are great features. The computer runs programs very fast. Highly recommend!

I haven't had it long, but like everything about it. It's fast, easy to use and really like the backlight in the keyboard. Fun to play with.

It was really a good buy out for me. It came for a good deal for around 800$, however I hear lot of noise from the laptop. It was surprizing for me to hear such a loud noise for a new laptop. I took it to geek squad and they looked at it as it was less than a month since I purchased and they are authorized HP service center, they did inspect the laptop and said everything looks fine. I did ask them whether they have to do anything, they said they did not. But after coming to home, I did not hear that much noise, not sure what was the magic, Probably the fan might not be aligned well when shipped initially.

This is a must buy! You will love the speed and easy to manage programs. Very nice looking laptop! Got this for my college student! This laptop is similar to the ones at the office too.

A great PC laptop. Fast & Robust with everything you need for most tasks and games. Device is a little heavy to use in Touchscreen mode during Long Periods.

I needed a new computer. This computer has the right size, great look and feel, and I love the screen.And it is fast. Wish it had more USB ports and old fashion touchpad

This laptop is exactly what I needed to get work done and also to browse around on. It’s fast and a nice looking machine. My only nit-pick is the fan isn’t as quiet as I’m used to.

This is the first computer I have gotten, and it is very satisfactory. I do not run many large programs; I use it mostly for email, online videos, some gaming, and miscellaneous tasks. It has plenty of storage and memory for the tasks that I perform. I gave it only 4 stars because 1) The battery life is less than I would prefer it to be, although it does last a decent amount for a laptop this size in my opinion, and 2) Sometimes the laptop glitches for a fraction of a second and the speakers buzz. I have only had this happen when gaming, so for most purposes I believe it will perform fine. Hope this review helps!

Great computer for work and school. Super quick. Graphics and contrast is amazing. Touch screen, which is convenient to use. I definitely love it and recommend it.

I had been researching a new laptop or chrome book for several months. A friend suggested the HP Envy and Best Buy had a great offer. I ordered it the same day, that was over the July 4th weekend. It arrived, as expected, on the Tuesday. Opened the box powered it up and Wow! This thing is fast, and it's still fast over a month later. I have loaded it up with the software that I require for both my hobbies and my work. From powered down to logged in startup, it takes about 13seconds! My desktop PC takes a coffee break to start up. This thing Flies. I have thanked my friend several times. Could not be happier with my choice.

Powers up and loads quickly. Tablet mode is nice for using the touchscreen. Easy scrolling and selecting. Lightweight and has a nice sized display. Overall I am very pleased.

Lightweight, very fast, and I can tell the difference with 32GB Optane bridge between CPU and Memory. Exactly what my sister needed. It was a gift, and yes, she's very happy!!

I have been using envy 360 for 3 years now and bought the second one. Design wise this is even better. Can't beat the flawless performance with the larger SSD !

I bought this laptop to replace my old HP laptop which was nine years old. What intrigued me was that you can use it as a regular laptop, at an angle to use for presentations or videos, and as a tablet. The touch screen is bright and very responsive. I don't have a stylus yet so I can't really speak to how well you can write on the screen. It is really fast for multitasking and web browsing. It is well built with the metal hinges and I feel like this would last a long time. The only con is how loud the fan is but overall I'm pretty pleased with the laptop.

I was specifically looking for a new HP laptop with a backlit keyboard and numeric keypad. This one did not disappoint, it actually came with additional features I didn't necessarily need, but make it even better and easier to use (fingerprint reader and touchscreen)! The computer was simple to setup right out of the box, and works great. It's fast and has more than enough space in the 512GB SSD. The main uses I have are personal, and it's great for working at home as well. I love the Silver color and how sleek it looks. Truly love this new laptop and sure I'll have it for years to come.

This HP Envy x360 was not my choice of laptops as I have used Dells for over 15 years. One night Dell died and I needed a same day purchase. I've been using the HP Envy x360 for 13 days now with windows 10 and it has done remarkably well. With 12GB memory, accessing my work files download fast and working with two screens on multiple documents has changed my attitude towards HP. I was going to get 1TB SSD, but the 512 GB is plenty and transfer of all the files from Dell SSD went smoothly. The battery life is good too. The laptop comes with one 2 USB-As and one USB-C ports, each side a USB-A. The reason for 4-stars? The power source and the right USB-A port are side by side and the charger plug is L-shaped, so, if you have a USB device connected, power plug lays on top of the USB if in a wall socket behind you. No problem if you don’t need the right USB-A. The keyboard key letters could’ve been darker and the function keys are too small! You can barely see the icons and the teeny, tiny f1, f2, etc. in the top left corner of each key. I would accept a smaller touch pad to have regular sized function keys. Also, HP has the print screen key shared with the shift key (????) and the laptop power on is a key where print screen is usually located on most laptops. Another thing, there are no supports under the laptop to keep it from being flat on the surface. I will try felt stick-on used on bottom of chair legs to protect hardwood floors from scratches.

I’ve been been using this computer for almost exactly a month now and I have to say it has been really great! I got it for a really great price on a sale going on and i bought it because it had really good specs for the price compared to others and it turns out the computer itself is actually very smooth and thin kinda like a Macbook which was my other option when I was looking at computers. It has a backlit keyboard too which is great so it looks awesome and the screen is a touch screen which I probably won’t be using too much if I’m being honest but it’s nice to have. overall great computer.
