ok laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.spent alot of money on this laptop..have had it just under a year and have used it probably less than 20 times...bought it for mostly design stuff using Adobe products. it is incredibly slow. on top of that, the BIOS is always causing issues and Ive had to send it back to HP 3 times now. Also, it refuses to power on when connected to the power source, but if I remove the power source it will turn on. Worst laptop I have ever owned.

Not worth buying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my HP Envy x360 m6-convertable laptop back in December 2016 and I had to send it back to HP for repairs 16 times once because geeksquad had to send it back due to it almost catching on fire when they plugged it up to charge. Everytime I had this thing sent out a new problem came back but the old issue also persisted. They HP said they replaced the Hard Drive and Thermal Paste every time I had it sent in they only twice replaced the Motherboard in it. In which I still had BSOD's and issues with it now since my warranty is up I just have it running Ubuntu right off my flash drive cause there's no fixing a Hard Disk 301 Imminent failure without buying a new hard drive to which probably will have the same issues anyways. I mean I had many other HP Laptops better than this one.

Not Recommended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop charger is not correct for the laptop that was provided by manufacturer per the error message box i receive upon every startup. Reviews state that running a bios update will fix this. I have disconnecting issues on wifi (no ethernet at all). Well the HP update assist cancels the installations for occurring even though updates are available. Considering how quick the sales rep was to get a sale, I am not confident enough in this laptop to justify spending nearly $1000.00. I will be returning this to the store very shortly.

Stay Away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my second one of these in 2 weeks. The first one was fast but kept giving a warning that the power supply that came with the laptop was not compatible. Now this one has had nothing but problems. Extremely slow to boot. Slow to load any program. I have a 5-year-old laptop that is faster than this. HP must have been in such a rush to get an 8th gen I7 chip out there that they forgot to develop a laptop that is worth a bleep. I will be returning this one and move to a different manufacturer. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have used HP for many years and I now know I should have read all the bad reviews on this product.

Mouse issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return the computer for a different model after experiencing random mouse movements when using the computer. When any (wireless or wired) external mouse was connected, the cursor would jump to the upper right corner at random times. Impossible to perform any work when the cursor decides to jump around on its own. Spent over eight hours trying to troubleshoot. HP support was useless. Took it back and exchanged it for an ASUS. Hopefully that works better.

Beware of HP Envy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Envy x360 with the model number m6-aq003dx has a serious flaw. At some point the Windows updates will cause the keyboard to stop working. The guy at the repair shop says this is a consistent problem with this particular model. The solution is to stop updating Windows which is not an acceptable solution. HP needs to recall, repair or replace this model for the current owners. Major fail. Purchased at Best Buy. It locked up again within 24 hours.

DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL! EVER!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst notebook experience ever. Had constant trouble with computer not finding audio driver, and had to reinstall driver every day, for 10 months. Finally gave up and upgraded to Lenovo computer, but not from Best Buy. If you buy, you will have trouble. Poorly designed and even worse support from HP. It there was a rating less than one star, that is what I would rate.

Not Impressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought this lab top a few months ago and I'm not impressed with it. It takes forever to start up from being asleep and it falls asleep all the time. You have to keep the mouse moving constantly. It's super annoying. I tried to contact hp to get help with the problem but I was "put in line" and never contacted. I've explored the settings multiple times to try to fix the issue on my own but I"ve never found the right setting. For the price I paid for it and the claims made about it, it shouldn't have these issues.

The worst laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had several laptops so far but this is by far the most expensive, has the most RAM yet is THE SLOWEST and is very disappointing. It runs loud like a vacuum and opening a simple world template takes one minute! I applied all the possible “tweaks” to improve the speed yet the laptop can’t handle when more than one action is being completed, such as browser and word file. HP is a terrible brand and this laptop is THE WORST! Don’t buy it.

Don't Buy this Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This convertible has a known issue with what is called "ghost tapping",. Google it for yourself. The cursor will bounce around the screen making the computer useless. No amount of updating or changes to the settings will make any difference. I wasted about two days with this machine before I finally returned it to the store and got my money back. HP should not be selling this machine until they get their game straight.

Broke in less than a year.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never dropped this computer, but I have opened and closed the lid several times a day. Apparently this was too much because the hinge broke after ten months. This was a complete waste of money.
