Given the incredible Number of emails that I now receive telling me about discounts and other savings available, I am somewhat concerned that the laptop I purchased by just walking into the store may have cost me more than it would have if I had had access to all these discounts before purchasing the computer. That said, I am reasonably happy with the computer itself.

Great quality product! Super fast and convenient. Downside to it; does not support broadband cable, no cds, we all know we no longer use them, but we still rent through red box, pc games. On the bright side, the image quality is awesome and not to mention the great quality sound. Over all I think it’s a 4.5 star.

I love HP and I purchased this piece in May for a college seminar overseas for 2 weeks in July. I didn't start using it until about 3 weeks before the seminar started so that I could get used to it. Unfortunately when I did use it, it got so hot multiple times that it almost hurt me and I did my absolute best to keep it aimed so that the air could move under the bottom. On Sunday, July 21 the computer completely died. It would not turn on and even though I tried multiple outlets and multiple different connectors (including those that my roommate had brought) the computer did not turn on. Needless to say that when I got back to the US I was very flustered. I immediately stopped at Best Buy and talked to someone at the Geek Squad. Their immediate response was that I didn't use the right adapter in the UK (wrong...I bought one from Best Buy which happened to fry on me! I had to buy a backup in the UK that seemed to work better than the one that I had originally purchased at Best Buy) and that they would look at it and see what was going on. I'm now going on 3 weeks and just discovered yesterday that when it got sent down to KY to the main facilities to be hopefully fixed, it's completely dead and nobody at the home store backed up my files on the flash drive like they said they would the day I dropped it off. That made me extremely upset. That was the first thing they were supposed to take care of. I'm hoping that they get my original piece to back up the files and then give me the chance to get a new one, but I'm very upset with how the computer worked out. I think if the computer had worked, I would have a much better response!

I love this laptop. Its clear and fast. I am a college student and really love having the big screen. I do alot of research and this computer keeps up. I also love being able to switch it to tablet mode and will be taking notes with it with a stylus. The battery actually last me all day in classes which makes life so much easier. Its best of computer world and tablet world!
