I bought this laptop to start school. After owning the laptop the keyboard, some keys stoped working. This happen the week before I started school. Best Buy said I just happen to received a faulty keyboard and they would send it out for repair. My laptop has been out 28 and I’m left with nothing to use for school. I’m extremely frustrated and wouldn’t recommend

First, this is my second one. I first purchased back in May 2019 and returned it the next day to exchange it for another exact one. Out of the box it started to crash, so I returned/exchanged it thinking it was a default. However, my 2nd one did the same think... Giving me blue screens with sad faces, and sometime it comes on and sometimes it does not - - no idea why other than I think the motherboard is bad. HP needs to fix this problem or simply take it of the market. I ended up returning both of them and purchase a DELL

I bought the computer a few days ago because I am going across the country to go to grad school this on it's own is already stressful enough, but I decided to replace my old hp envy computer. I spent most of the money I had on this new hp envy relying on previous experience. Two days into the trip and the third time I used the computer the screen would not turn on. After contacting the manufacturer they offered to fix it and send it back to me which is nice, but I am in between home and grad school making it a mess to set things up. Bottom line I spent my hard earned money on a computer I thought would last and it gave in 3 uses. I have really lost my faith in hp.

I have had this laptop maybe 6 months. Paid $1500 for it and the keyboard and mouse has completely stopped working. I was on the phone to feel square for literally 8 hours trying to diagnose the problem and in the end the keyboard just quit working and I need a new one. Geek squad was great and said I could come in to get it fixed when allowed due to covid, but I'm not happy about it at all!! I should not having to go thru this after such a recent purchase of such an expensive product.

Returned it a week later with a bad hard drive. Very unusual for a brand new HP.

Died, bricked in less then a year and a half. I lost all my files and have a $800+ brick.

I find this laptop to be garbage. Waste of an i7 processor, fingerprint doesn't work, slow start up, slow downloads, can't connect to my phone, false advertising with the battery, says it lasts 12 but it's honestly like 3 even if I have it on power mode the entire time, the touchscreen is confusing and a waste of a feature. I don't want this laptop anymore.

Keys dont have that home key feel, constantly on wrong keys, mouse pad is always off, go to left click and it right clicks.

I should have taken the advice of the rep that rang us out. He straight up told me this computer has been returned so manny times, had so many issues. I loved the specs, great specks.. but, the laptop 1 week after purchasing it the laptop keeps powering down, and now it will not power on or even charge. Will be returning.

Lost keyboard, touchscreen and mouse function after 2nd use in Windows, 3 days after purchase! Found out it's a fairly common issue with this computer... i was really excited about this machine too - really liked this computer but really disappointed that hp didn't correct this issue! Feel like i bought a Dell...

The computer has trouble turning on after less than a week since we bought it. Overall, it is a pretty good computer.

I have had constant issues with this computer since I bought it. I'm currently a grad student so I brought it to my school's help desk to see if they could solve the ongoing startup issues I have been having. They updated the software but it still didn't work. I wouldn't recommend this computer to anyone.

Worst purchase ever. Opened laptop and spent the time to set everything up and next time I went to use the BRAND NEW laptop it failed to turn on. An apparent hardware failure. Never buy this computer.

Average not that bad pretty cool has some good features some not that good

The computer was not functioning correctly, and would not even start up or stay on. It was used for a new job and broke down within a few days. Best Buy had to replace the computer. Hopefully, the new one will work.

The power cable works so it seems it may be the battery that is DEFECTIVE! Probably have to send it to the manufacturer. Will look into that next. It is great to buy things brand new and when you finally set down to use it, get everything loaded and then it just doesn't work.

About a week or so after I got this laptop the touchpad started clicking really loud every time it was pressed. It feels like the pad is loose in the holder or not mounted correctly. The HDMI port stopped working after a couple of months.

I love it!! I could not afford the more expensive touch screen. This one has no delay after my touch nor is it slow on any commands. I have added over thirty two Adobe products to say the least. My young son also enjoys the convenience of the touch screen even though he types fast.

Computer works fine and I like the ssd hard drive but unless you look straight down in a bright room you can’t see the keyboard. Not much good when you can’t see the keyboard!
