Won’t be buying a third time.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop in late May. I don’t know much about technology, but my dad does and he said the HP Envy x360 was the best laptop for this price (especially with the solid-state drive). Three weeks later, the hard drive completely crashed. We took the laptop back to Best Buy and they sent it to HP Headquarters. They were surprised at how new it was and how quickly it died. I was very upset because I had imported videos and photos on it and lost them completely as well. HP said the laptop was unrepairable. Best Buy refunded me the money and I bought the same laptop again. I looked around at other ones but decided to give the HP Envy x360 another shot. Terrible decision! I bought the second laptop literally two days ago and the hard drive crashed once again a few minutes ago. Won’t be buying the HP Envy x360 a third time!

Battery drains when on sleep
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third HP notebook, and generally, it's okay, but it scares me sometimes. I knew that the battery drains to zero if you close it with the programs running, but it usually starts when you plug it back in with the charger. Yesterday night, I went for dinner while a few programs were still running, and when I came back, it was already on sleep as expected. I have the battery and power settings set for it to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity. I closed the computer without waking it up, and this morning, I got scared. I pressed the power button, and it wouldn't start. I plugged in the charger, and, still, it wouldn't start! Then I started panicking. After about 15 minutes, the red light was lighting up! Wow! It never happened to me before! Besides the cooling fan also produces annoying noise, particularly when it's plugged in.

TERRIBLE COMPUTER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to get this laptop because it supposedly has great features that sound so promising, but it was the worst ever because the system is messed up! I went through 2 laptops and both crashed within the first month! After talking to a few sales reps, I was told that they've heard others complain about this laptop, as well. All the positive reviews sound amazing and I really wonder if it lasted! I had very bad luck might even loose all my data! HP is at fault and I do not recommend this laptop to anyone!

Pieces breaking off less than 1 year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the performance of the computer, but HP needs to make a product that is more sturdy. Pieces are already breaking off. The long rubber pieces on the back of the computer that provide a non-slip surface peeled off. The clear strips underneath the rubber peeled off, too. Now the laptop slides off the computer stand that I have it on! Need the stand to keep the fan from getting too hot. I had go super glue the pieces back on. Not what I expect from a laptop that cost $1,000.00. And that $1,000 did not include a DVD drive. I had to purchase that separately! Need a product that doesn't fall apart after 10 months of use.

Defective Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have read the reviews before buying this. The computer lasted 2 weeks before the hard drive died. Wouldn't even boot. Also the laptop has TERRIBLE air circulation. The laptop is so thin that it has about 3 MM of space between the bottom of the laptop and its air intake vents. I had to rest the laptop on a pen and hold it up to get the silly thing to cool itself. I took it back. Awful laptop,

Not a good computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this computer on 6/3/19. After setup by Geek squad, I had computer at my home for 1 day- then I Checked my storage- ( I had a 512 ssd) and I had 20 g left , then Geek squad checked and the computer said that I only had an 80g ssd drive.( not what I purchased). The computer was replaced with a new one. After this setup was completed- I had the computer for 5 days, then it would not boot- with a message saying reload operating system (another hard drive problem) . It was recommended to get a different model. I then got a Dell. With these problems- I do not recommend this computer.

I hate scratch 'n sniff pads
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always turn off my touchpads because I prefer an external mouse but I don't have the option to turn it off on the laptop. It is grayed out to prevent you from turning it off. This will be a deal breaker for future purchases. If you do like scratch 'n sniff pads you need to learn some form of sign language to use this one. As someone mentioned, the keys aren't easily seen unless you're standing over it. I do love the size of the screen.
