I have to admit that I was a bit worried when I purchased it because of negative comments on the product that some customers may have. However, it has been now 4 months since I bought it and I would totally recommend it to any student going to college! They day after I purchased it, I woke up and turned it on but it kept loading and didn’t want to turn on. I went back with it to Best Buy and they told me to hold the power button until it restarts and it’ll be okay. I did it and it worked very well. They told me that it had a lot of things to download and upgrade and that could be the reason why the computer kept loading. I was still worried after that, scared that it does that again but it has never done again.

I love this laptop. The lines are sleek, and it's easy to use. For some reason, it doesn't always wake up when I open it, but I reboot and it's fine. Love the touch screen too.

Replaced one of my older laptops. Great versatility, quality sound and Great picture. Easy to use. Geek squad got it set up quickly and Best buy honored their price match guarantee. Would purchase from them again.

I am pleased with my new HP laptop, and have adjusted easily to Windows 10 with this. That tells the reader that I am not a computer whiz, but I appreciate a computer that is friendly for me. I am especially happy that HP is still producing quality products. I have trusted their quality products, beginning in the early 1980's, and still trust them. I no longer have my backup computer expert to help me with issues. I let the Geek Squad help me initially, and all is great. Thank you, HP; thank you, Best Buy; and thank you, Geek Squad. My new computer has a happy home and a happy owner.

Great computer to start with. Turns on so fast. One afternoon I was done working on-line and with Excel for school. I closed my laptop. Came back several hours later for it to be locked up. Never had a problem with the two to three other laptops I've owned doing that. Then one day at school I closed my laptop to work on the desktop computer at school for about 10-15 minutes. Almost the same thing happened. When I opened my laptop the mouse pad didn't work and I had to restart it. Luckily nothing since but I make sure I never leave it on if I'm not actually using it. Geek squad here I come with a computer I've only owned for just over a month. Hopefully they can save the info I have in it for school.

Love the feel & texture of this laptop, very sturdy, but thin. It runs smoothly and is user friendly. The lighted attached keyboard is my favorite feature! So glad I spent a little more than I planned.. 5 stars!

Needed a new laptop and after many reviews, settled on the HP Envy. Computer has more horsepower than I need for home use, but is more than welcomed. Very interactive and easy to navigate. Good battery life also.

I purchased this for my grandson. I am not a computer person but I know that he was extremely satisfied with the performance He can use this with a CAD program as well as record music. He lives the touch screen.

I had a small glitch with this unit. My operating system froze up and I had to take it to the geek squad and have it sent to the manufacturer. Outside of this issue I love my laptop!!!

Great speed, touchscreen works really well, and the folding tech is great. This computer actually fell with me from my bike. Got a pretty nasty little dent in the corner, but still works like new!

I use this laptop to take college courses. It is pretty fast and reliable. I love the sleek design of the computer, it makes it easy for me to transport it, back and forth from school.

This laptop is everything a student can ask for. A touch screen, lighted keyboard and 360 flip into a tablet any user will appreciate the ease of operation.

Great product! Just the right size to for me to get things done quickly and efficiently no matter what room I'm in. Love all the apps. This was a great buy for me and my needs whether at home or on the go.

Great PC for the money. I work in IT and know value when I see it. This computer is much more serviceable than the Surface Pro variations as it actually can be opened up and worked on. The Surface Pro? Your only option is to send it back to them. Even for a battery. Poor design. Especially when you consider the batteries on the Surface Pro bulge and cause issues like screen distortion and case deformity. The battery for this computer is in the keyboard side and can be replaced without breaking a glue bond. Now, it is heavier and the keyboard can't be separated. Small price to pay in my opinion, considering the HP is hundreds of dollars cheaper. Everything else being equal, give me the HP.

Purchased for business use. Very well built and sturdy to work with. Strong processor and SDD/Optane HD for faster reading/writing and less battery usage. 8 GB of Ram Memory was disappointing. Geek Squad was able to match 8 GB Ram stick off the shelf and installed before setting up computer. By doing this, the computer is now well equipped. So far, computer has been reliable and the battery steady (never last as long as promised). Main drawback is non-backlit keyboard and the touchscreen turning off from time to time. I'm sure this is operator error but have not taken the time to research. I recommend this computer, especially at the price point paid of $899.

We bought it for our son for high school graduation and he loves it! Touch screen, flips over into a tablet. I’m certain it will be the perfect laptop!

This was exactly what I was looking for to travel back and forth to work. I love the touch screen capability. The fingerprint log in is quite sensitive and doesn’t work well would be only complaint.

I like this, I liked the touch screen combined with the normal touch mouse pad. I definitely recommend! If I wasn't a dummy when it came to computers I'd prolly love it way more!
