If you want a big one, this is a good deal.

Essentially a PC replacement, but no optical drive. May be larger and heavier than you need if you intend to carry it around a lot, but the large screen is nice. Can be used like a tablet, but a bit clumsy in that configuration. Happy with it so far.

The battery life was an important factor and so far it lasts a long time w/o needing to be charged. It fits nicely in his back pack and it's also lightweight.
