Too early to tell - if the program works as stated, it will save us money. We have only used our new HP printer for a few months and already have a full set of replacement ink cartridges sent from HP - the printer has not requested new ones be installed yet. So far, working well!

I love not having to order/pick up my ink myself! I tend to forget until I'm in the need to print something important and this helps so much. As long as I can get my daughter to stop printing anything and everything!

If you print a lot and paper is cheap for you, then this is worth it. Just remember that for the free months of pages you have to enter the code during checkout/adding the new card in, it won't work afterwards.

must admit that i am still measuring my usage of printing. it has made me mindful of what I am printing and what i am going to do with what i am printing. the convenience of the refills being made available as the printer measures usage is a good feature. over time i hope to get a better feel of whether my usage requires me to increase by refill for more than 100 prints per month? I probably will have to bump it up a bit.

I just purchased my printer and signed up for this program. I have already received my first shipment. I think this program will be very cost effective. It's so easy!

Instant ink enables you to forget about buying ink EVER! It's cheaper for me and pages rollover! When the ink is low, new ink is shipped before I even run out! I love this service!

I brought the monthly plan but have not used it yet. It wasn't completely and clearly explained to me how it works. I had to go back to the store and get an explanation of how it works and what I needed to do.

I just love how you get a new set of ink in the mail when needed. We use the plan that is only $2.99 per month.

The salesperson talked us into this instant ink program. He said we would never run out of ink which is true but the cost is $4.99 per month. The problem is that I can only print an average of 100 sheets per month which sounds like a lot but it really isn't when there are students in the house who use the printer for school homework. We are now always worried that we are going to print more than 100 pages per month. The company was very prompt in sending the new replacement ink cartriges which were much bigger than the sample ink cartriges that came with the printer. I think I would have been without this program and just bought the ink when my levels got low and then I would never worry about how much we are printing or not printing

I signed up for this because my father uses our printer for his home business. During this whole set up the first two months were free but during the free month we had to up the amount to the 9.99 plan which gives you 300 pages a month. There's an additional charge for every additional 15 pages and then there is also a rollover plan with every plan so whatever pages you don't use will rollover to the next month. Ink is mailed to you, so no need to go to the store to pick it up.

Very good product. Instant Ink saves lots of time and money. Used this on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 and it notifies me on when I need ink. I do not have to go to the store to buy ink, it automatically ships me the ink, it is larger than XL. Compared the prices of ink in the store, it is HP 910 black/color- $53.98 every time so if I can into the store at least 3 times in the year, I would pay $161.94. On the other hand, I can pay either $2.99 x 12 months= $35.88/year $4.99 x 12 months= $59.88/year $9.99 x 12 months= $119.88/year

I have not run out of my 1st allotment yet but given what I was spending on ink annually on my other printer I will certainly spend less with this plan. Plus, the convenience itself is almost worth it. No more running out of ink at midnight when you or your kids have a project do the following day.

I like this program of shipping ink based off how many pages you produce and it is intuitive enough to send you what you need and when you need it.

I bought this when I bought my last HP7800 printer. The cost is minimal because you never have to remember to buy ink. It's so easy.

I got the 300 page plan with my the OJ 8710 because I'm an engineering student and I print out a bunch of lab reports. By buying this with the printer, I got 4 months free right off the bat. The printer actually came with 3 months worth of ink as well, so I am getting 7 months of ink for free! I will be paying only 50 dollars for a year of ink. Not bad considering that one black cartridge for the 8710 is 38 dollars. Plus the Instant Ink cartridges are bigger than even the XL cartridges. The value is very much there!

The reason I'm giving this product 4 stars is that once I started using my printer, I realized that 50 pages monthly is not enough by far. I ended up upgrading my service plan to the 100-page limit, in order to avoid the fees for going over the limit. I also ran out of ink very quickly on my first shipment. However, I was incredibly impressed by the service provided by HP as the printer automatically re-ordered in for me. It just so happened that the very same day I that I ran out of ink there was a brand new set of cartridges in my mailbox that day! Thanks, HP!

After using this service for two years very satisfied with this purchase. When low on ink it shows up to your door. Great value also. I highly recommended.

I think this instant ink program is a great idea, I have received my initial ink package, but so far I haven't had to install the ink yet. I don't have to start paying the monthly fee until I install the ink. So I will have to let you know once I run out of the ink that came with the printer.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! The printer "knows" when you are going to need the ink and bam, it is in the mailbox. This is so perfect for busy people. Just be careful what plan you pick because if you go over the amount, you are charged accordingly. I use it for recipes. SO easy to replace the cartridges..

If you don't want to worry about when to fill your HP printer for ink, then get one that can take "instant ink" subscriptions. HP will monitor your ink levels and send you new ones when needed. No fuss, no mess.
