This was an add-on to the printer purchase, but it seemed to require a minimum of 300 copies a month, and an automatic order when it reported low ink. I didn't like these features as our copier use varies widely. We ordered on-line, and when I went to pick it up, no one explained it, the benefits, or the cost, it was just placed in the bag. Read all the fine print before you decide whether or not you want to allow the printer to automatically request refills on your behalf!

This plan is good for moderate printing. I did the math and one year of this plan will be around the same price as ONE color cartridge.

Instant Ink is the way to go. No longer do I run out of ink. When my printer says it is low a new one is shipped.

if you don't print much then get one of the HP printers that allows for the free plan. 15 pages per month free, 10 cents per page after that. keep your printer online and hp will send you cartridges when you need. ---- but I recommend searching online for a "4 color printer purge" picture to print out periodically to keep the ink working if you don't print much so you don't have to waste time doing the clean blasting ink out routine when you do need to use it.
