I have had the Instant Ink Service for a number of years now (since its inception) and have never been without ink. The monitoring system, used by HP, anticipates my need and ships ink to my door before my existing supply is exhausted.

Good value for my needs

In that time I purchased a cartridge to hold me over until the ink by mail arrived. The cartridge I purchased on my own wasn't recognized by the system and would not work. They were opened but unused, I couldn't return them and I'm out a lot of money.
