When I bought my printer HP 5530 this works it will send you ink when printer is almost out so you won't run out. It will track your ink for you and send it to you in the mail when you need it. You don't have to do anything period. love it :)

WHY didn't I have this product before?? We were ALWAYS running out of ink right in the middle of a project and NOW I don't have to worry about it, I would recommend this program to everyone.

We're only about a month into our usage of the HP Instant Ink program, but so far it's been perfect for us. We don't print much at home, and in the past our ink cartridges would dry up within a couple months and we'd have to spend ~ $150 to replace them (color+B/W). We've already received our next replacement cartridges, so when the printer indicates they need replacing, there will be no delay. This program seems to have been designed for people like us, looking forward to using it for months to come!

I have used this program/product for two months and I am so glad that I decided to try it. I don't even think about ink anymore and that is a good thing. Delivery was awesome and not having to remember which kind I need or when makes me very happy.

Have been using this service for a while, never run out of ink, one price per month and has roll over pages if not used.

When I purchased my printer I had no knowledge of the HP-Instant Ink Service. While shopping for my printer there was a Representative from HP in the area and asked me if I knew about the program and proceeded to show me the options. I told him I don't do much printing and he suggested the 50 page option and it made sense to me. This was easy to apply for and at the time there was a three month free option. Within a week I had a replacement ink in my mailbox. I am pleased with the service and I don't have to go to the store for ink again.

When we purchased, we thought we were low on ink. We are just getting to the point that we are going to be changing the cartridges so we will know later how we like it.

This is a great way to get ink without the hassle of going in the store. You have the option to get free ink if you’re only printing 15 pages per month. You can change this at anytime to your printing needs. It does track the printer ink levels and that’s the only issue for me. Because I don’t keep my printer on or plugged up when not in use and I receive email alerts telling me to turn on the printer. But it’s a great buy.

So far I love this program. You honestly can't beat the price. One of the reasons I bought an HP was because of the HP instant ink. I like that you can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and it really does send you the ink when you need it.

Will save you money. You can change how much ink you use anytime. My daughter loves her's she can print from most devices. Great good ... How much you will save is money

Why wouldn't everyone take advantage of this program? Saves a ton of money throughout the year and no shopping is required. They send the ink when you need it and they track when you need it. Great idea and everyone should take advantage of it.

Worth every penny , comes straight to your door! How convenient and much cheaper

On the surface this looks like a really great way to purchase ink. I will admit that I didn't do much in the way of research regarding the pros and cons of "leasing" ink, but some minor number crunching leads me to believe this will be much more economical than buying ink all the time. I will say that although 100 pages seemed like a lot of pages to have available per month (caveat: I am the only person using the printer), I easily blew through that in just a week. Granted, one of the docs I printed was 80 pages, but the other 20 pages sure seemed to come and go REALLY quickly in that week. That is no fault of HP, but just a fair warning to really analyze your print usage before you decide which plan to choose. The great thing is that even if you don't use your allotment in a given month, unused pages will roll over into the next month. In addition, HP has a site you can go to that will track your usage (when your printer is on), which makes it really easy to see how close you are to your limit and adjust accordingly without any penalty. So far this seems like a really good deal. You can quit at any time and adjust your page count on the fly with no penalty if you find you use more or less pages than you anticipated. The ink comes quickly from HP and there are no postage fees you have to pay. Good luck and I hope this review helped you out!

Was skeptical at first, but a 3 month prepaid plan came with the HP Scanner/Printer I bought 3 years ago and I have been on the 50 page/month plan ever since. After the initial (small) cartridges ran low, the replacements came quickly. 2 years later I was not showing low on the ink level, but the print quality was getting bad, I believe, because I live in the desert SW and the ink was drying up. I was able to "force" a shipment of new cartridges and everything has been fine. Only negative is the HP Smart app that connects to the Ink Management and can also be used to control the printer/scanner stopped recognizing the scanner on one of the user profiles on my Windows 10 PC after about 2.5 years of use. Tried troubleshooting it MANY different ways from advice on HP site and blogs and then tried to deinstall and reinstall. But since it is still on another user profile, it wouldn't reinstall the app. The HP Smart app still works from THAT (rarely used) user profile!

Easy to install. Works perfectly. Great value. Lasts a long time without fading.

I have Instant Ink on 2 of my printers. It is more cost-effective than buying ink cartridges, when the ink runs out. And, I don't have to worry about ever running out of ink. HP monitors my printers and sends ink, when I need it. The cost is based on the number of pages, regardless of whether it's 2 black words, or a full-page high-quality color photo. Ink is sent, based on cartridge ink level, not quantity of pages.
