Being that I would need time to actually see how this all pans out, I can only give it 3 stars. I did however, get my backup cartridges quickly so that’s great that I’m ready for that evening when I have a report to print and don’t have to worry about being out of ink.

I just started using the HP-Instant Ink program. Though I have not had time to evaluate it myself, I was telling my son about the program and he has been using it for 3 years. He said it has saved him a lot of money and is very easy to use. I am looking forward to my own experience saving money! The HP people I have spoken to have been very courteous and helpful.

Great plan, easy refills never forget and run out of ink!

I like the fact that they let you know if your about to exceed your limit. I signed up for 50 pages a month. they let me know when I was close to using my maximum and gave me the option of upgrading to 100 pages a month instead of charging me for being over my 50 page limit. I realized you have to keep your printer on sleep mode and connected to the internet so they can detect when your low on ink.

This is outstanding! Only logical way to replenish your printer ink.

While it may not be "instant ink" as in refilling itself if it runs out, it does automatically reorder ink after printing so many pages (depends on plan). I printed quite a number of pages the first night I set it up. Within about 4 days, I found a package on my front porch. In it was another complete set of cartridges. Those are still boxed up as I haven't used up the first set of cartridges yet.

This add-on service is very handy and has taken the guess work out of needing to buy ink!
