Posted .I apologize for the misunderstanding. Instant Ink is the most affordable way to print. You pay based on how many pages you print, not ink used. If you print 50 pages a month that is 600 pages a year for only $34 before tax. That could be full color pages or black and white. It is up to 50% less expensive than buying comparable ink cartridges. Fortunately as you discovered, you can cancel or change plans at any time if you decide Instant Ink is not for you. Once again, I apologize for any misunderstandings on how the Instant Ink program works and I thank you for choosing HP.
