The HP ink subscription pays for the printer itself! I absolutely love this idea and its very green. I also enjoy accumulating points with best buy when i purchase these balances through here and then use them at HP.

i enjoy this service because my girlfriend is in college and is constantly printing stuff for school and this gives me the freedom to pay monthly for ink instead of paying when i run out so they'll ship me some right before i run out

HP Instant Ink is an awesome service, you don't have to drive to a local store to find out they are sold out of your ink you require. My weekdays are back.

Never run out of ink. Refill cartridges are sent when you need them saving a business from having to send someone out to purchase a cartridge and you can keep your productivity up.

Totally worth getting the monthly plan! Better than always having to order ink or forgetting to order ink and waiting for it to arrive,

I have signed up for the instant ink plan since the purchase of my all-in-one printer, with the $5 prepaid card which comes with a month or two (forgot the exact months) free usage. The original was used up quickly and I changed the black twice and the colored once. The new ink came way earlier than needed for me but it is always good to have it on hand. I also like that it doesn't distinguish between color and black and white. The prepaid card is just loading the face value to balance without any perk like the first time signing up for me. I intended to buy the $5 one but it was not available for shipping, only store pickup. I wish the $5 one is available online or maybe there should be a $10 one. The final point: why I need it when I have a credit card automatically charged by hp? Well, there are always some bestbuy reward certificates that you don't immediately need but will expire soon...

I prefer to use these card instead of a credit card to help budget ink subscription

I very highly recommend that everyone get Instant Ink. It is a huge savings and they send you the ink cartridges without having to order them This was purchased to place on my prepaid balance; you can always have the charges paid by your given payment method
