We're only about a month into our usage of the HP Instant Ink program, but so far it's been perfect for us. We don't print much at home, and in the past our ink cartridges would dry up within a couple months and we'd have to spend ~ $150 to replace them (color+B/W). We've already received our next replacement cartridges, so when the printer indicates they need replacing, there will be no delay. This program seems to have been designed for people like us, looking forward to using it for months to come!

Was skeptical at first, but a 3 month prepaid plan came with the HP Scanner/Printer I bought 3 years ago and I have been on the 50 page/month plan ever since. After the initial (small) cartridges ran low, the replacements came quickly. 2 years later I was not showing low on the ink level, but the print quality was getting bad, I believe, because I live in the desert SW and the ink was drying up. I was able to "force" a shipment of new cartridges and everything has been fine. Only negative is the HP Smart app that connects to the Ink Management and can also be used to control the printer/scanner stopped recognizing the scanner on one of the user profiles on my Windows 10 PC after about 2.5 years of use. Tried troubleshooting it MANY different ways from advice on HP site and blogs and then tried to deinstall and reinstall. But since it is still on another user profile, it wouldn't reinstall the app. The HP Smart app still works from THAT (rarely used) user profile!

I love this program. It is convenient, really easy and the time plus cost savings are so incredible!

When I purchased my printer I had no knowledge of the HP-Instant Ink Service. While shopping for my printer there was a Representative from HP in the area and asked me if I knew about the program and proceeded to show me the options. I told him I don't do much printing and he suggested the 50 page option and it made sense to me. This was easy to apply for and at the time there was a three month free option. Within a week I had a replacement ink in my mailbox. I am pleased with the service and I don't have to go to the store for ink again.

Picked up a new laptop and thought about a printer. After looking at an Epson the sales associate recommended the HP. I commented about the expense of ink and cartridges drying out from years prior. The associate recommended I join the HP instant Ink program. You'll never worry about not having ink or running out. You decide how much you will print per month and then you pick what monthly plan fits your criteria. Can't say enough how great this program is. Well worth every penney. When we purchased, we thought we were low on ink. We are just getting to the point that we are going to be changing the cartridges so we will know later how we like it.

I have Instant Ink on 2 of my printers. It is more cost-effective than buying ink cartridges, when the ink runs out. And, I don't have to worry about ever running out of ink. HP monitors my printers and sends ink, when I need it. The cost is based on the number of pages, regardless of whether it's 2 black words, or a full-page high-quality color photo. Ink is sent, based on cartridge ink level, not quantity of pages.

So far I love this program. You honestly can't beat the price. One of the reasons I bought an HP was because of the HP instant ink. I like that you can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and it really does send you the ink when you need it.

This is a great program. You get a $5 prepaid card when you sign up and HP monitors your ink wirelessly. This program cost you $3 a month and it only send you ink when you need it but if you need ink once a month and then the cost is $36 a year which is still well below what you will pay if you need to replace your colored ink and your black ink in the printer. This is one of the best programs I have came across in a long time I highly recommend it!

This is a great product if you print alot. Especially color or pictures. If you don't like it you can't print as they remotely lock you out of your own printer. I was using the ink that came with my purchase and they still locked me out and wouldn't let me use my own machine. You will be stuck with them forever so just plan on it. If internet goes down you are locked out. I must always pay for internet to now use my printer...it sucks! As far as the ink goes. Ive had this printer for over 2 years and only replaced the cartridge once. They really fill it up but you are paying a monthly price for it. Its convenient as it just comes to your home and they know when to send it. I would recommend it ONLY if you print a LOT of papers. My 3 star rating is b/c they can remotely go in and do what they want with a system you purchase.

Ink replacement for HP printer. It's easy to install and seems to work just fine

I have enrolled in this and it is great. I don't have to worry about running out of ink or running out to buy a new cartridge. The cartridges are delivered in the mail. You save a bundle of money with this program. It's a lot easier and cheaper paying $9.99 a month, then buying 6 or more ink cartridges a year at $35 plus each. If you use your printer a lot this is a real money saver. You can recycle your HP cartridges at no cost by mail in the envelope that HP provides when they mail you your new cartridges.

HP instant ink monitors my usage and sends new ink in time for me to install it and keep going. Reasonable price too.

I like the simplicity, buy the package you wish and pay that amount every month you need ink. I have received my first package of ink and it was mailed to me very quickly. IF you research the cost of ink at the store vs this plan and if you fall in one of three categories your cost of ink will definitely be less than in store. example I purchased the 300 page package for 9.99 plus tax vs buying is store ink would be approximately 75.00 and up depends where you buy your ink, for me this is a great deal.
