I was very surprised at the flimsy nature of this printer. I've always had HP printers and they're usually substantial. This one feels like it could break at any moment everything is really cheap plastic and the way they put the control buttons on the paper supply area at the base front was very poorly done. First of all that whole paper area sticks out and seems to make the printer unnecessarily larger in its footprint. If your finger slipped even a little you were going to be choosing 99 copies instead of one. One of my biggest issues was set up and use. It seemed to rely heavily on using your phone or whatever device you set it up on. I'm used to setting up Wi-Fi and all of that right from the little panel. I returned it and got a better HP model the 3101sdw that ironically cost less money and was much better.

The printer is working well. Prints clearly, and quickly. Setting up the wireless feature was simple. A good value.

Set up was easy. Easy to print & fax. Disappointed in scan and send process. Thought you could enter recipient’s Email on device—not scan, download to computer to attach message, then send. Ridiculous, too many steps! Scan is also not easy from phone app.

When I purchased this printer, I thought it printed in color as well. However it doesn’t. The printer is very fast though.

I received my first one as a Christmas gift and it worked well until I changed the ink cartridge. Something went very wrong and parts broke off so I bought a new one in order to use the new ink cartridge. Best buy nor HP would help with why it fell apart. Hopefully things will go better with the new one.

This is the third HP laser printer I have purchased. It compares favorably with its predecessors.

This printer is very user friendly. Perfect size for our home office.
