Excellent Solution for daily B&W printing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP - LaserJet M234sdw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer offers excellent printing for those needing day-to-day black and white only printing. This printer is quick, efficient, and accurate for most printing needs. I boasts up to 30 pages per minute while providing the first page in just under 7 seconds. The 600x600 DPI makes for crisp and clean printing. The auto duplexing feature is great for anyone wanting to print to save paper or for your next booklet printing project. The scanner is fast and accurate, the Bluetooth and WiFi printing makes this unit a well-rounded printer option for most home or small office. I found the printer to be excellent save the lack of color printing. While this is not designed to be a color printer, there seems to be a lack for my needs missing this component. The black and white printing, however, was fast and accurate. I had not hangs or jams using a variety of paper types and weights. I regularly print newsletters using 65lb paper and it handled the job well. PROS - HP brand, quality, and design - Speed of printing - 600x600 DPI - Wireless printing options - Scanner is fast and accurate - Many types and weight paper options - Auto Duplex print option CONS - Lacking Color print option - Need to use the HP app to scan to email or other device other than PC

No Complaints - Just a Great LaserJet w Scanner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer ticks all of my boxes when it comes to printing my documents and return labels. It’s fast and very easy to setup. My initial setup took less than 10 minutes from box to printing. The prints are dark and rich and very sharp as you would expect from a laser printer. The printer has an app that you can connect to via WiFi and the app itself is very simple and intuitive and most of the administrator settings are a little harder to access to keep users from changing things that may cause issues down the road. The app will allow you to manage multiple printers on your network and you can even print to the printer remotely if need. The printer also has a flatbed scanner which I love because I scan all my receipts and IDs and even though I have a few scanners and ways of doing this, I always appreciate and look for better ways. I believe there are better scanning options out there but in a pinch, this will serve you well. Overall, HP has made a nice entry-level laser jet that will be in my office for a while.

Overall a Good Small Office Work Printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, a nice unit for a small office or work space. The design of the printer is on par with other HP printers. Construction is good and it should hold up well to any office environment. Print quality is excellent compared to other printers. Text and images were clear and concise, and well defined. Not too much saturation. Paper loads easily and feeds smoothly. The only issue I had and why I subtracted one star, was the setup. The printer took me a long time to hook up. I could not get it to hook up via USB. I tried over and over and no luck. I tried through HP Smart, and still no luck. HP Smart needs to be updated and revamped. After more than two hours, I gave up and winded up connecting the printer via Wireless. That worked fine. I have no idea why the USB connection would not work. It did show up in Device Manager via USB, but that was it. No matter how many times I tried to print, it would not. In the end, not a huge deal. Wireless works fine and I am printing away. The printer menus are pretty straight forward and easy to use. Overall, this would make a great printer for a working business person or a small office. I trust HP reliability that it should last me for many years of service.

Great BW laser that prints clean and fast!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer so far has been great, setup was super easy with the HP Smart app having only took a few minutes to setup. Impressions out of the box are it is a printer with a small footprint and fit nicely on my desk without taking up tons of room. The WiFi setup was really simple and this printer is enabled for cloud printing so you can print from your phone, tablet, PC or Mac. HP's app is overall pretty good and if you have other HP printers it makes it easy to print to each one separately. Print quality is exactly what you'd expect for a laserjet, it's clean and fast. I was actually shocked how fast it prints and when it comes on from sleep it actually is nearly up and prints within a few seconds of waking up. The instant ink for this printer is an option but the toner is easily obtained and very reasonable on cost per page. Finally, a printer that you get great quality and toner that won't break the bank. HP generally makes some of the best laser printers and so far this one exceeds my expectations in that regard. The document feeder worked and was able to zip out copies really quick and the double sided printing works great too. What was most surprising his how fast the double sided prints came out, most printers suffer in impact to speed when printing double sided but this printer handles it very well and fast. What's different on this printer is where the controls are, it's definitely a change and it works once you're used to it. HP simplified the interface so it's really easy to navigate and you don't have to read the manual to understand how to find options in the menus. I'm pretty impressed with this printer overall and would definitely recommend it for a small business or home office. The only reason I might shy away from using it in a larger business or one where multiple users use it would be mostly due to paper capacity, it doesn't hold very much so someone would always be loading it. Outside of that this printer is solid and I'd recommend it!

Nice look, quite and efficient printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another good product from HP... This Multi-Function is not an exception. Printing quality is high and very quite while working. Wifi connection has a good range. Works very fine with the HP app. Easy to install and to use. Quite fast printing. I like the minimalistic and clean design. Not very complicated It is supported with HP instant Ink. I used to have their service on my old inkJet HP printer. Not bad at all and relatively cheap. I checked the website for this printer and it is appealing. They save you time and hassle to worry about your ink level and still with a good price and according to HP, they contribute in recycling the toners (re-use). Paper feeder works very well. So far never had jamming issues. Scanner has also a good resolution. Printing and scanning from your phone (android or iOS) is very easy. Once connected to my home wifi, my computers started picking it as a new device on the network. Installing driver went really well and printer is available from any connected computer. Who would need this? This is a good printer to have in a small office or home office. Elegant shape, small and quiet when working. The small LCD with controls are part of the minimalistic design that adds a nice touch and look. This is not my first HP printer and honestly they never disappointed me.

Perfect Black-and-White Laser Printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title indicates, the HP LaserJet M234sdw is the prefect wireless laser print for home or small business user. Out of the box, it maybe took 3 minutes to remove all the packaging, which really protected it while it was in transit. Once I had it fully unboxed, I plugged it in, fired up the HP Smart app and the printer was printing inside of another 3 minutes. It also prints really quickly from the HP Smart app, a phone, laptop, or other device. I can print full black and white pages in a fraction of the time it takes to use and Inkjet printer, which is exactly what I wanted it for. It also uses toner instead of ink so the XL cartridges should last for a significant amount of pages. The toner also came preinstalled so I was able to start printing right away - no installing any ink cartridges. Overall, I highly recommend this printer for home of office use. It does the job perfectly, has an easily accessible paper tray and once again, it prints really, really fast. Look no further for a black and white wireless laser print.

Quality All in One, Annoying setup.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer replaced a much larger all in one from a different manufacturer. I'm impressed with how powerful it is, despite its light weight. I say lightweight in comparison to my old Canon, which was easily 30 pounds. I have no complaints on how the machine operates so far! It prints insanely fast, even over wifi. I barely press the print button, and its already done. The paper tray is easily accessed and seems fairly sturdy. You can easily change the paper size in the tray to fit your needs. I have yet to try the scanner portion of it, but I have little doubt that it will be just as fast as the printer portion. The only complaint i have is the setup. As usual, HP bloatware and an overly complicated setup process. HP wants you to make an account to supposedly enable wireless printing. This is not the case. Then they'll keep sending you emails telling you to complete your account to enable wireless printing. So annoying. I know this is just par for the course in the tech world, though.

HP Laser Jet- Good Buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had our HP Laser Jet printer for a couple of months, and it has met all of my expectations. We opted for the B & W rather than the color, which was much more expensive, and for our home purposes, it has been a good decision. We are quite pleased with our printer.

Constant Wifi issues
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be perfectly honest, I’m getting more and more frustrated with HP printers, and this LaserJet is no exception. Although I love the idea of a laser printer because I don’t print a lot and want to save on ink, that’s only helpful if the printer actually prints. I’ll come back to this later. For now, initial setup was easy enough, and I do like the HP app since I can see printer information from my phone, scan from phone to printer, etc. The overall design is good in terms of size and aesthetics. And the initial connection to Wifi was simple. I do like the amount of control you have right on the printer touchpad for setup. However, I’ve had nothing but trouble in getting the printer to STAY connected to Wifi. It says it’s connected but then I go to print from a device and it suddenly disconnects. I write this in the review because this is not the first HP printer I’ve experienced this problem with. It seems to be a design issue that has continued into their current run of printers, and it is beyond frustrating. I contacted support but the issue has persisted. And as long as it does, I can’t recommend this printer.
