Unable to install
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice light weight combined system. But, I'm having a problem connecting this HP printer. It is always unable to connect. i have tried many times to connect with USB and ethernet. I do not use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on my network. I tested the cables with other devices, and all is good in full duplex ability. I am running Win10 and always check updates. I have tried for 2 hours over 2 days installing then uninstalling. Windows sees it but when I print a test page it says it printed but nothing in the tray. I will return it before the window is closed.

Buyer beware.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this printer. It is the worst I have ever had. I run a small business and only use it for smalll print jobs (2-3 pages). The copier at top jams all the the time. The printer itself spontaneously goes into offline mode for no reason. I bought it new less than 4 months ago. It has caused downtime on a number of occasions. Complete junk.

Solid budget laser printer with valuable features!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a no-frills printer with scan and copy functions. I think this is a really nice budget laser printer which gives you all the functions of pro printers from 10 years ago for under $300. You get duplex print, duplex scan, flatbed scan, and copy and you can get your first page out in less than 10 seconds. Impressive! Now, this is a budget printer from 2023. If you currently have a multifunction laser printer, there are a few things you need to know. This printer has a VERY small and BASIC display and button layout. There’s no LCD so you have to perform most functions from the driver or your HP Smart app. It’s kind of annoying if you are used to having full functions from a screen on the printer. This includes setup, settings, customization, and error notification. If you are just using this as a basic printer, you’ll be fine. Another limitation is that this has a 150 sheet tray. It’s fairly common for 15 years ago, but pretty skinny today. There’s also no way to add another tray level with this printer, so that’ll be the most you’ll ever be able to load. Be aware of this if you are planning on printing fairly high volumes. There are two different cartridges you can get, the standard 134A for 1100 sheets and the 134X for 2400 sheets. In the box you get a starter cartridge that only has 700 sheets of toner in it. I highly recommend HP printers and this one is easy to recommend because of its no frills price but good value feature set. If you need more printer, it’s not much more to spend for a Neverstop or higher Laserjet model, but if you only print a few docs or don’t need color, this is a solid pick.

Scanner is utter garbage
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The scanner on this is utter garbage - by far the worst I have ever used - constantly jams, unbelievably bad quality. If you just want to print it's OK.

deceptive does not have auto 2 sided primting
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The specs are deceptive this does not have auto 2 sided printing. It prints one side and then you remove the paper and put it back into the feed tray for it to print on the other side. I do a lot of 2 sided printing and this is not auto 2 sided printing. It was also difficult to set up the wi-fi watch out if you have two wi-fi connections you have to make sure your computer or device is on the same network connection or it won't work.

DO NOT BUY!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t understand who writes the positive reviews about this poor-quality printer. HP seems to have adopted a model of selling devices that last less than a year before breaking, along with overpriced ink cartridges. Great job, HP!

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a brand new HP computer today as well as this printer. And the printer will not sync up with a computer at all. The instructions are useless. The online instructions are absolutely worthless. Returning the printer to Best Buy very disappointed.
