Connecting printer to laptop

Even with expert help from family and friends it took a while to achieve that goal. The printer is working fine at the moment.

It took a bit to navigate all the menus to turn on the option, which I would have been expected to be enabled by default in this day and age.

It will not stay connected to our home network, no matter what we do. Even paid to have a tech guy come out. He finally got it connected, but stopped working after 3 weeks. This is the 3rd HP I tried. I’m over it.
