Nice printer Easy set up and prints fast. Used for work

I am a Network Administrator, and I trust HP products for their reliability and performance. The setup process is straightforward, and the quality of the copier, scanner, and printer functions is exceptional.

It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I purchased this all-in-one printer for my office. It is serving the needs of the office well. I have also connected faxing services to send and receive lab documents. So far, so good.

I've had this unit a year now so I've had plenty of time to evaluate its performance. It does everything I ask of it well except faxing. I just stick to using the software faxing and this works every time. Text is crisp and clear and the print speed is fast. One thing I don't like is the small toner cartridges which are quite pricy but since I don't print that much anymore its a tradeoff I was willing to make. Also the touch screen could be larger. The biggest complaint I have though is when I access the printer using HP Smart it forces me to input the code multiple times when I should only have to do it once. If you don't know it the code is on a label attached to a printer cartridge and if you don't write it down and keep it put up then later replace that toner cartridge the code will be gone and you won't be able to access the printer menu functions. It should've been attached to the door or another part that can't be thrown away so it won't go missing.

The printer was pretty straightforward to get set up out of the box. After downloading the necessary HP apps, and having the printer directly connected to the computer, I have noticed both times when I tried to print that I had to submit a product multiple times before the queue even registered and started printing. When it does print, it is fast and the quality is good, though could be better for images.

Set up was out of the box easy. I put it on my WAN for all devices to use, and it was a breeze. Printing is without delay, and great quality. Much better than my last laser color (different brand, lasted 7 years), but already I can see the vast difference. To the positive. Would highly recommend.

The color print quality on this is amazing. There is a non all-in-one, printer-only variant available, but for the relatively minor increase in cost I found the scamming, copier and fax functionality to be a great value-add. Setup was super simple— I was able to get full set up in less than 15 mins. I also appreciate that this shipped with full toner!

The H/P color Laser Jet Pro MFP4301fdw is outstanding device. I highly recommend it for your printing needs. My go to Best Buy salesperson “Spencer” recommended this H/P printer and I am extremely satisfied in the speed and quality this printer performs.

Faster to set up, doesn't jump paper and it fast whem printing

Fast and quiet. Set up was great. It has worked exactly as we wanted.

So far very happy with this printer used in a home office. Upgraded from the HP 3390 multi-function printer that I paid twice as much for back in the day. It served us well for 20 years but was time to upgrade. It still printed but scanning was flaky and the fax no longer worked (not that we can even use that since we don't have a landline.) Setup was mildly involved but HP provides plenty of instructions and YouTube videos. Using it wirelessly, which adds great convenience over the 3390. I can now put it anywhere I have a power outlet although I have it placed in the same location as the old 3390. Having color available in laser is great although I'm not looking forward to toner cost. I will be looking to use 3rd party cartridges. Quieter than my old 3390 and seems faster. Both printers had duplex function but this one works much better. More compact than the 3390. And much cleaner packaging although a neutral white would be preferred over the blue accent. Highly recommended based on initial use. Hope it holds up as well as the old 3390.
