I tried different HP printers, found this one of the best ones.

Wonderful printer and can do everything in the specs.

Unbelievable that there are any positive reviews! Printer is not usable. First day. Printer won't stay connected. Got critical error, thought maybe defective. Second day, got a new one. Same exact issue, same firmware issue. I updated both of these printer to the latest firmware, connected via WiFi. Within 20 min or so, it will disconnect. Reboot required to get back up. Endless cycle. Wasted 2 full days on this. Gave up. Ordered M283 which is the one I turned in to recycle due to a bad screen. I didn't want to buy another old tech item which screen can go bad. I figured I'd go with the 4301 as it has a new screen so HP must have known of some kind of reliability issue they needed to address. Anyway, M283 came in and I was up in 10 min without any issue. I'm guessing the only people giving a positive review use a direct USB cable connection. If you never connect to a network (wifi or ethernet), then I guess this printer would be ok to keep.

Ink Cost more than others and less options for the printer than older models

I believe there should be more information available that how to set-up this printer directly to Email Scan or Copy or even Great printer

Great color printer from HP, a trusted name brand. No longer need to mess with dried-out, messy ink cartridges.

The printer is very good, however the toner is outrageously expensive.

Overall we like the printer, however, to replace the four ink cartridges will cost more than what we originally paid for the printer and that is extremely frustrating. The reason we purchased it was so we didn't have to spend more money getting things printed elsewhere. With the cost of the ink, looks we made a poor choice.

Printer locked up several times, connection issues, used less than one month, and rarely. Now it is permanently locked, will not boot up. Worked with HP, nothing helped, same with best buy. A lot of bad reviews, and the good reviews most have only had for a short time, read them. BB chat was painful.

Very Good Printer. Easy Installation, but you need the HP Smart app for remote printing.

Happy to have finally upgraded printer for home office.

Have been very pleased with printer scanner copier

I find it difficult to adjust the setting to get it to print the way I want it to.

Performs perfectly. Available in sleep mode 24/7/365 to air print, copy and fax.

Works very well. Copies look great. Color is very vibrant.

Istaller was fantastic! Had software issues (my computer) which he resolved with a show of excellence!!!

Worst product. I love HP so I bought what was suppose to be the newest and best one 8 days in it stopped working, 10th replaced. Second one exactly the same machine unfortunately and it is doing the same thing but now I can’t use document scanner due to a line going down center of page. This was my 5 th document to scan.

LOVE this printer (bought two of them) - but only when it actually works... VERY FLAKY software: installed, removed & re-installed numerous times trying various download options from HP. It will work for a while and then it just doesn't... I had assumed it was operator error but now I'm convinced this is all an HP problem.

No issues easy to operate, customer service was very insightful
