not user friendly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Top feed for scanning is good but this is the most difficult printer I have ever used. I have not been able to print after the printer is offline for a few hours (such as printing first job of the day) requiring a hard restart. The scanning tool is ok but defaults to jpg vs pdf requiring me to change for each job. It also defaults to a low resolution that can be changed, but needs to be done on each job. I have a Brother printer at my house that does not have any of these issues and do not plan to get a HP printer again. Would not recommend.

bad setup instructions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Instructions on setting up the printer are a nightmare. I am an experienced IT person.HP has really dropped the ball on how to set this up. Only because I owned an HP 8600 was I able to figure this out. As you probably know help desks are getting worse and worse and even the websites were of little help I was on my own. There are two apps the app you want is the one for the printer not the cloud no instructions on this difference. The scan button is not really a scan button but a button to instruct you to put software on your laptop.

Frustrated
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this about 2 months now. Not pleased. Thought I'd upgrade to a nice all-in-one, but so often it prints a page with the words "PCL Error." Can't find any real help in the HP support website. Tried updating drivers, firmware, but I must try multiple times before the desired page actually prints. It's big and takes a lot desk space. Can't scan from the printer, must launch the entirely clunky "HP Smart" app and wait more than 2 minutes for which every couple of days it asks for the printer PIN again. But the scanning won't wake up the printer, instead must print a page, any page, to the printer. Only then can a scan be done.

Piece of Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing just kept on glitching. Sometimes it will print, sometimes it will print a portion, sometimes it won't print at all. Spent over 10 hours dealing with hp support. Finally, I returned it. Stay away

HP Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hope this one works longer than 1-1/2 years. This is my 3rd printer. Bought only because I have the print cartridges. HP is not standing up to their name. I don’t dare buy one without the extended warranty. Dissatisfied & disgruntled…….

Only HP ink? At $100*4? One customer lost
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a loyal customer for a long time from HP, but locking customers into ridiculously priced toner is morally wrong. You want to still me expensive toner? Fine. Convince me about the quality and the convenience. Force me to buy your ink? No.
