needed a black and white printer... nothing fancy... don't need every bell and whistle... this got the job done.

Love how fast the printer prints copies. I bought it because my kids were getting inpatient with my inkjet printer.

Very easy to setup on a Mac, much harder on a of. Couldn't get it to work with Windows 10. Other than that, pretty decent basic printer.

I purchased a HP402dw from Best Buy and it performs very well. I have always had good luck with HP printers and this one is a basic black ink printer. For basic printing it is excellent. I use this for my home office and the wifi print function is excellent. I would recommend this printer for basic jobs at the right price.

Sorry, have not set this printer up yet, but I give it 4 stars because of several friends opinion! I will return after I have used it and may upgrade to 5 stars. I have one laserjet 6p that I have used since it first came out in the 80s and it is still going strong!

The printer works fine, but when it goes into standby mode, the power light flashes. This is distracting and annoying! There is no way to disable this. I was going to take it back, but I would have had to pay a lot more. I put a piece of tape over the light. Come on HP, get your act together! Who thought this was a good idea?

I have been very happy with this printer. It is fast enough for me and provides great quality documents. It was easy to set up for wireless printing and has been trouble free. I am a low to medium size user and could easily recommend this HP for similar users.
