The printer works well when it works. We had some trouble getting the right drivers, and occasionally the printer has acted up. HP says this is a workhorse and is very popular. When I bought it, Best Buy personnel said it was being discontinued and they had it on sale for $149. But it never was discontinued that I can see. Now these issues have settled down a bit.

Bought this for some simple work and is a work horse.

I got this after years of riding the struggle-bus using inkjet printers. I don't print a ton, so every stinking time I tried to print, the toner cartridges were dried out and needed to be replaced. This seems to work really well - it's black and white only, but if you plug it into your network, you can print to it wirelessly from all of your computers, and even your iOS devices. So far, so good.

This printer works great and is quiet operational for our office.

I had heard that I could connect my work laptop directly to a printer at home. However, I learned that you still need to upload a print driver, which my company does not encourage or permit. So I returned the printer because I already have a bigger one, and I'll just have to use a memory stick or send documents to my home email addresses/laptop in order to print at home.

Works well for everyday printing good on most toner cartridges.

It's great but there is no proper instructions on how to get it wireless.

If you need a black only printer for medium volume this is a good solution.
