I had been disappointed with using color printers that constantly required replacing the color ink. Given I preferred black ink, I decided to go with my current printer and have been happy ever since.

I had to buy a new Laser Printer when I bought a new computer. I like it but I wish I had my old one. I'm still learning how to print using different Programs & types of paper, envelopes etc. Not easy friendly to find out how to print in the different programs.

This is a perfect printer for envelopes or checks in an office. We don't use it for all purpose printing, but for these limited purposes it is perfect.

I use this printer at my small business. It gets plenty of work and always performs well. The toner lasts for a good amount of time and is inexpensive to replace. Highly reccommend

Been using this printer since 2018, have had to buy toner for it once. No issues with it since I bought it.

good printer but be aware if you are tying to print from remote desktop with the latest drivers... it won't work well for you. try a more generic HP PLC 6 driver like 4200/4300

This printer was very easy to set-up and has been working great. This printer is used rather heavily and has yet to present any problems. Prints quick too.

Opened box, connected cables to our network and did an add a printer and my Windows 10 computer the printer installed the drivers. Up and running in less than 5 minutes.

I had a Canon laser printer that was going to cost more to fix than buy a new one. I have been using this printer for a few months now and it hasn’t let me down.

Works great, however you may want to consider an eco tank. The cartridges for this are very expensive. We are already wishing we would have researched.

Works fine on older computer program using PCL 3. Ink cost is just so so. Don't know yet how reliable this model will be, will update in 7 years.

The 402n is a good printer with one caveat -- it does not do duplex printing as advertised. Because of this, I exchanged it for a 402dn which does do duplex printer and is an even better value.

Works perfectly for our needs. With AirPrint and wireless access, small form factor and affordable print cost it's an excellent choice

Suitable for the price, for occasional low volume home printing, but somewhat slow with MacBook Air and large footprint for being a very basic printer. Disappointing that it requires a separate purchase of $26 for A/B USB cable. Comes with standard 26A toner cartridge (not indicated on any of the information). Twice the size but not better than antiquated (now dead) HP LaserJet 6L that it replaces. Print and online directions are a bit cumbersome and took a while to navigate the HP website to find information.

Wanted a b/w laser so not to use too much ink on inkjet. This works great And prints on network so all computers can access!

This unit replaced an old Canon unit that died. It is a fine printer that has all the features I need for my home office.

It get jammed a lot. Other then that it's okay. I'm sure there maybe a simple solution, however it's very difficult to get in contact with HP.

Was suprised with the printer it did not want to print if you did not turn it on and off at first Ended up down loading a driver from hp and now it starts and prints from its sleep
