Works ok but feeder jams when scanning. Tried different paper, no change. Can't scan or copy more than about 6 sheets at s time. I expected a bit better for the money. Still using it though.

This printer does everything and the price was the first reason I researched it. Love the way it prints and scans, super quiet too.

Definitely satisfied with the product HP has always been efficient and proficient when it comes to heavy duty tasks

I have to say that I have been impressed with how far long these color laserjet printers have come. Very fast printer. Wifi Direct is great! The only thing you need to remember to do is to go into the web interface and turn on scan to computer. This way you can scan right to your computer right from the printer itself. This is the only thing i had to turn on. Wish this was on by default, but it's not. The items and pictures i print come out looking very good. I have absolutely said good bye to inkjet printers.

very fast easy to use once you get it set up..very heavy ..dont know about ink consumption havent used it enough to judge..but overall very happy with purchase

Works great. Easy setup and my phone connected right away and off to printing I was. Also, printed a pretty decent photo on regular paper that I took from my phone.

This printer was easy to set-up, as I am electronically inept. Once set-up the printer worked with no problem and fast.

Good price and readily available to pick up. Use in Tax Business so couldn't wait on the repair of similar printer. Noted that this unit (same model I replaced, but next model up) is faster on both print and much faster on multi-page scans. This not a great printer for photos (ok, but not great). One disappointment is the cartridges are changed in number. while they look the same, you can use the cartridges from the 477 model.

Amazing color quality, simple user friendly interface and software.

from epson to high end unit this hp pro 479fdw look like a winner so far, the key word is that everything WORK and the colorful look great. I even had hp pro 477fdw laser unit with lot of issues 2x back to Best Buy until the new unit came out hp pro 479fdw I love so far thank to Best Buy for there return. I only deal with Best Buy went issues come, I will always buy protection plan with these unit you never know what come up. AND calling hp went there is issues forget it, I deal with Best Buy only

So far so good. its was easy to hook up with my computer, wirelessly. i printed a few family photos that was stored on my computer, just playing around. color was great. printing was fast. i am very happy with the printer. nice almond color looks good in office. sleek design. paper easy to load and the screen on printer makes it easy to pick your choices by tapping the screen and scrolling up or down. My last printer was HP..they are good quality and this was was on sale to. thank you..

Easy to use and setup, solid printer, quality prints.

Fast startup, Fast printing, Apple Air print to mobile device with no app needed. Duplex printing & Scanning. Paper exits in middle, no need to pull out a tray with I love. Also has a photo mode in the driver to print color photos on Laser Brochure Presentation paper. The photos are almost as good as inkjet although you have to use a full 8.5 x 11 sheet. Has paper feeder for envelopes. So far it has been great. Only issue is price. Its much higher than Canon and Epson comparable models.

This is a great printer so I bought a second one. Wireless makes it easy for others in the office to use it. One thing is that the toner that comes with it “reads” as being low after a relatively short time. I kept using it for about three months before I actually had to replace it. The toner is expensive - get every print out of it that you can. It takes all kinds of different papers well. I’d buy it again and Best Buy is a great place to shop!

Replaced my older HP printer with this model and it is a fabulous upgrade. Much faster to print the first page, excellent color and even functions as a fax machine on those rare occasions when you need a fax, like dealing with your medical insurance issues. it is expensive but definitely worth the extra investment even if you are not printing hundreds of pages a day or week.

It was a simple installation for both hardware and software. It warms up fast and starts printing in seconds. The colors are very good and paper handling has been excellent. The only complaint is the "feel" of the material. The trays and doors do not feel very substantial and I fear they will break anytime I'm using them. This is more psychological than anything and has been true of all HP printers in this price class for a long time.
