Good printer with some interface issues with Mac

As an all in one, with MacOS Catalina, the HP LaserJet Pro M479 will not scan (after HP and Apple Tech assistance, the scanner could not be made to operate). Hence, scans must be made independently of the IMac computer and saved on a flash drive, then inserted into a USB port of the iMac, to be read as a pdf file. Of course this is more time consuming, and it is hoped that compatibility will be gained after HP and Mac upgrade software.

Perfect printer for my office (7 people)

I was shocked to find that Best Buy had one and I snatched it up!! I've got a 7 person team and use this in my small office. Honestly, I'm so bad with computers and printers and this printer was like idiot proof to set up. I'm a huge fan, and I'm very picky and have high expectations.

Good for small business

Wireless printing is the best. I use this as an alternative to a thermal printer because of the cost and ease of connecting to my network. I can still purchase labels to print on using a larger printer. I’m still having trouble connecting and using some features of the printer but haven’t spent enough time figuring it out.

It serves the purpose for home office and small business use. Easy to set up ( although instructions are sparse). Yes, the toner replacement is proprietary only ( ie, expensive), but....you get what you pay for. I've had HP Laserjet printers for over 10 years and I stand by my choice.
