    Great All-in-One with a Caveat...

This all in One is a really really good product. I have 2 of them in my home office. And 3 more in my work office for staff. It isn't perfect though, but not bad enough to take away a star. There's two issues that HP should address. One, the intake feeder doesn't pull evenly. They all do this btw. (its minimal but annoying) (especially when you want a PERFECT document scan for legal purposes) Two, even when connected to a computer by cord; the software loses connection when using the LED screen; so you have to use the APP on your computer. Example, you want to scan a document and use the touch pad on the printer. But it tells you it can't find the computer. So you open the APP on the computer and select the SCAN function and it will work. This happens 50% of the time. This happens to ALL Five printers. Tried calling HP CS, and just got some knucklehead telling me there's nothing they can do and I should use the APP.

This all-in-one from HP is a first rate machine so far. It does everything it is supposed to do and it does it well. Set up was much easier than past experiences. Software walks you through the process. Only down side is that the toner is VERY expensive.

Great printer--does everything I need to get done--printer, scanner, copier--and in color. Bought it to replace three machines so now I have more room in my office. Plus it's bluetooth so no wires.

We’ve used this printer quite a lot and it works great. The prints are clear and the color is very sharp. We have had a few small problems printing from a hotspot using five or six devices/laptops but we’ve managed to work that out.

HP LaserJet printers are great. They produce excellent multi-color copies. No other printer in its price range comes close. I owned several of them in the last 25 years. What HP needs to do: make them smaller and include scanning of both sides of a document in one pass.

The M479 is our defacto standard for our company. Easy to administer from an IT perspective, but also easy for SOHO businesses. No training needed for our end users, as the on screen menus get the job done.

This printer is great to use straight out of the box. Very easy set up and the maintenance is easy. This is particularly true of the toner replacement. I actually own two of the same model to keep the office and home configured with the same equipment.

Really good printer, it prints over wifi very well, the color looks good and the ink is dried well onto the paper. It also prints things very fast, it has lots of features that are really useful, such as copying. The touch screen is really useful and easy to set up.

I purchased this printer to replace an earlier model of the same product that recently died. It is a great printer for small business and home use. The cartridges are expensive, but I purchase the XL versions and each lasts not quite a year. Overall, I think it is a better value than an ink jet with similar features and print quality.

A great all in one printer. Quick, and easy set up as a network printer. Black, and white prints are crips. Color prints are vibrant. One drawback is operating cost. Replacement toner can be expensive. At least I will not have to worry about dried out ink cartridges.

My first color printer for home use, couldn't ask for a better printer. Black and white pages are crisp and fast. Toner is preinstalled and will print 2000 pages. Easy to follow instructions and made setup a breeze. Automatically set to duplex!

There are cheaper options. However you get what you pay for. This was bought for the purpose of printing marketing items for our small business. The print quality is second to none.

The ease of set up is excellent! It is fantastic for multiple users, requiring WiFi or BlueTooth. Absolutely love the scan and print doublesided features and options. Haven't yet used the USB input or Fax/email features. Not needed at this time. For the most part, it is excellent for what is required. I think the color is not representative from what I "think" I'm printing, but I'm not using it for media and photos. I have tried various settings, but it's not imperative enough to research that intensely. HP is, in general, frustrating to replace toners at reasonable price. If you order off-brand, you must replace the toner chip to allow it to print. But the print-count will always remain low or empty. Just turn that notification off, if it bothers you. Quick and pretty user-friendly for those who have some tech knowledge. I doubt people with lack-of-patience could get very accustomed to the LCD menus, however. It does take some exploring to understand some features. But basic usage can be set as defaults for those who will never need to change settings. Overall, great unit for a small office that prints a decent amount daily!

Pretty good product for the money. Usually prints without issue even from sleep mode. I was not pleased with the photo printing though. Even with photo quality paper it just smudged the ink over the picture and the print quality was poor. Luckily I use this for my home business which does not require many photo quality printing.

It’s the best printer we’ve ever had. We’ve tried every kind of printer out there for our small business, and so far, this one has been the best all around printer/scanner. It’s fast and quiet. Ink is a little pricey but it’s worth it to me.

Easy install does not scan all that well. The images scanned can be grainy and lack crispness. Prints just fine receive faxes and make copies. Scanning quantity and quality are not that great.

My previous printed stopped working so I got this one. This one is expensive, but worth it. It's color and All-in-one. The scanner is easy to use and it prints on both sides. Though I wish it was available in black.
