I've had a lot of printers in my lifetime; some good, most bad. Some disconnect constantly, others fail to feed sooner rather than later, others print poorly. I might have had two printers in my life with which I've been truly satisfied. Both have been lasers. One has been color. This is it. Buy with confidence, follow the simple setup directions, and you can't go wrong.

While the print quality is acceptable, the problem lies in the challenging configuration process and the printer's inability to handle scanning more than three pages. It frequently jammed or fed multiple pages together, mistaking them for a single sheet, resulting in a highly aggravating experience.

We have a small office where multiple Windows 10 PCs need access to printing and scanning, so I thought this would be a good solution. I bought this multi-function printer new and it was easy to set up out of the box. The device is connected to the network via a wired connection/ethernet cable - not a wireless connection. The print quality is great. I have been printing on regular paper, labels and light cardstock. It prints double-sided, even double-sided collated jobs, and everything looks great - photos, graphics, etc. At first I was able to scan over the network to multiple Windows 10 PCs. However, the network scanning randomly decided to stop working one day. After uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and the HP software multiple times, I gave up. I came in to work the next day and network scanning was working again. The day after that, it stopped working again. For no reason. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and HP software multiple times on multiple PCs, and it eventually just stopped doing network scanning altogether. But I have never had any issue with printing. And yes I have restarted the PCs and the printer. lol. I can't do network scanning anymore, from Windows scan utilities or the HP software, from multiple PCs. HP has an app for printer troubleshooting and it has not solved the problem. This is some sort of software glitch with the printer. I would not recommend this to anybody who wants to use it for network scanning. It might be fine for scanning via a USB connection, but we don't have it set up that way so I can't offer an opinion there. 2 stars for quality and value due to my satisfaction with the print quality. It waited until I passed the Best Buy return period before it acted up, so now it is mine I guess.

This is a high quality color laser printer all-in-one that is great for a home office. But if you are looking for 11 x 17 then this isn't for you. Read the specs to make sure it supports what you are wanting to print, scan, or copy (8.5" x 14" is as big as it will go). Otherwise this is a great choice, even though it is probably overkill for most home users.

I needed a color laser printer for my job. I also needed it to be able to print both letter and legal from a pdf file. The 2nd paper draw in this is basically for no more than just a few pieces of paper so I had to order an additional one for additional $$$. I still can’t get it to do what I need it to do. Maybe it’s operator error but very few instructions come with these things anymore

This all in one was easy to setup and use from multiple devices.
