This printer is heavy and will require a sturdy stand or desk to put on. The software is really good from HP and I have had no troubles at all with it. This printer is very fast and is super reliable. I highly recommend it.

There is a design flaw in the product. The digital display sticks out too high and when I put a book On the scanner to copy a page the display is in the way and it is very awkward. It also seems like it heats too much after printing like 30 pages. Starts smelling like burnt wires and feels hot to touch. Weird

I've had a few small issues with the printer but I've slowly figured it out. It used to always say it was out of paper everytime I printed, even when paper was full. No major issues otherwise and have been pleased with it for work use so far.

Fast High Quality Printing!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw is a quiet and fast color printer for doing a lot of pages quickly. It also does scanning and photo printing comparable or better than most laser printers is its class. It is very easy to use and has a footprint similar to a large inkjet. Removing and setting up the printer was easy as I followed the instructions for extraction printed on the box then I unpacked the cables and setup directions. The toner is already installed. I did the wireless setup with no hiccups on both Windows and Macs and used it with both Android and iOS. This printer has more wireless options than any other printer I have owned. The touchscreen on the printer is functional and allows monitoring operations without using the computer. I download the printer’s software to my computer from 123.hp.com/laserjet – Two files (simple to do). The overall operation is easy for printing, copying, scanning and faxing. It does a great job doing duplex printing – saving paper (and trees). Cost of toner cartridges is high but due to number of pages that can be printed the cost per page should be less than an inkjet. I LIKE IT!
