The computer marks and error since day one and doesn't print wireless or usb!!!!

It cannot fax more than 1 page at a time from the flat bed scanner.

Coming from a Canon MF733CDW, the HP Laserjet Pro M479FDW offers equal or better performance in every aspect. Out of the box I was surprised by how much more compact the HP is to my older Canon. A pleasant surprise as it takes up a tad less space on my side desk. The printer was easy to setup with as little work as following a few onscreen menus and away you go. I connected the printer to my wireless network and my Windows 10 PC immediately picked it up and installed the HP app. I was then able to scan and print with ease over wireless which was a nice plus over my previous Canon which would print wirelessly, but wouldn't play nice with scanning over it. Print quality is excellent in both black & white and color. Scan quality is excellent as well and works from both the single page and document feeder. The Windows software is easy to use and allows for scans into PDF or JPG. The only issue I ran into was scanning from the printer display would seemingly output only JPG files which is a pain. So if you need PDF output you will be stuck using the PC app. I also tested AirPrint which worked flawlessly from both my iPhone and iPad. The only two negatives I really have is that the build quality doesn't feel as heavy duty as the Canon and it is a bit noisier too. Having said that, neither would stop me from adding this Laserjet Pro to my short list of color laser options. Overall, I really like it and have retired my Canon to secondary duty down in my basement. If you haven't tried color laser and are in the market for a printing workhorse there is no time like the present to jump on the HP LaserJet Pro M479FDW.

One of the best printers I have ever used!!! The color is very vibrant. Decided to make a larger purchase for a printer this time around and I have no regrets. Even has made ink toner subscription a little cheaper since the toner lasts longer.

This Color LaserJet is replacing a workhorse HP PageWide printer that I absolutely love (and still works very well - going to my daughter). This printer has excellent print quality and speed. I particularly appreciate the ability to print directly from my iPhone if I need something on the run. This is my first go at a color laser printer, and I'm liking what I see so far!

This printer is amazing. I decided to upgrade from an HP ink jet printer and I am so glad that I made that decision. It was extremely easy to set up and the print quality is outstanding. I am easily able to print documents. This is the best printer I have purchased and love the fact the it was on sale at the time I bought it. HP products are the best.

Great printer. Just what I’ve been looking for for quite a while. Easy to set up and works with multiple devices that you can print from. Including my phone.

The printer was relatively easy to set up and configure with my iPad. It’s quiet, and prints very fast. I’ve only used it a few times so far, but I like it better than my old inkjet printer. I can print from anywhere in the house from my iPad. The only thing I don’t like so far is that I can’t seem to set the default to use only the black toner. I rarely need color, and I don’t want to use color if I don’t need it. I don’t want to need to buy new color toner any more than necessary. I followed guidance I found on the internet to set the default to monochrome, but that setting does not seem to stick. It’s a bit of a hassle changing to black and white EVERY time I print. Note - I suppose this could be “operator error.”

Very happy with this copier. Easy to set up and scan to email. Sharp print quality.

Hands down, this is the best printer I’ve owned to date (I’ve owned quite a few). I work at a school, and the printing quality is on par with our some of our top office computers. So far, this printer has produced lovely imaging for 5 of my children’s school reports/projects. No smudging, clear, crisp colors, and I’m still using the ink supplied in the printer I purchased in October/November! I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase, and would definitely recommend.

So far I'm loving this printer! The print quality and speed are way better than the five year old Brother MFC I replaced. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the navigation through the screens could be better. I will say that my rating does not reflect how I feel about HP's customer service. If I had to rate their service, I would give them one star.... or less.

This replaced an older Canon laser. It has less printing noise, prints faster, and the text is a bit sharper. After 9.5 yrs the Canon stopped working, it was not practical to repair, a laser printer repair specialist recommended this unit. So far so good, and I am pleased with the purchase.

This printer was well worth the wait! It took about 6 months to find one to order. All the local stores were out of stock. The color it produces is very accurate and vibrant. Even pictures printed on regular printer paper looks like it was printed on photo paper. I'm very pleased.

It works really well, we can print from virtually any device that has print capabilities. Prints come out crisp and clear no blurring shadows or smearing.

As a replacement for a broken 5-year old Dell color laser printer, the new printer has easier-to-understand menus and even better image quality.

Machine works perfectly every time, easily accessed with phone or tablet also and is so quiet it is barely audible.

The printer sometimes makes a noise when printing multiple pages. Colored ink is almost out after 2 months and I rarely print anything in color.

My old printer died and this was the best for the money and the features I need

Awesome printer. I appreciate that HP doesn't push a subscription through this product too.
