It is quick, the color copies are spot on. This printer can also fax and scan. The only downside is the replacement cartridges.

Very nice machine, few complaints

I have had one 1200 laser for over 30 years and it is still in great working condition. When my (non-HP) color inkjet gave up the ghost, I decided on color laser and immediately decided on HP. I like it so far but for a few minor issues - the ADF is not double sided scanning and the manual paperfeed is very awkward to use when alternating between checks, envelopes and odd paper sizes. Address those and it makes life easier.

Very intuitive and easy to set up and use. Pretty light weight plastic, lid a little rickety rickety compared to my old HP multifunction ink jet.
