I replaced my 15+ year old HP Laser printer with this printer. I rarely need a color printer so this was the best option. It is wireless, prints double sided (yay), and was easy to set up. Just let it do its own set up. BTW, I gave my old printer to a neighbor. That shows you how dependable the HP Laser printers are. Lasers also don't run out of ink like the inkjets and if you get this own, you are paying about the same price as an inkjet.

This printer is easy to setup and the quality of each print job is great. Purchased this printer for a home office and will never go back to an inkjet again. Each sheet comes out smoothly, the machine is very quiet and easy to copy, scan and print. This is well worth the money and it was a very good price. Super happy with my purchase!

Good quality print and easy to set up and use. Comes with a standard size cartridge, not one of those that you need to change after a week's use. Also, drum unit is built in, so don't need to worry about it for a long time. A bit noisy but not too hateful. WI-FI connection is not bad, but I had to restart the printer few times as it lost connection to network. Overall, it's a good printer for the money. I've bought it on sale for $100

This is a wonderful printer. We needed to replace a color printer as it was going through ink like crazy. This printer is a black and white one and works great! Clear copies. Scanner works wonderful. And copier works great as well. And it takes up very little space. We have it sitting on a 2 drawer file cabinet. It fits perfect! I highly recommend it!

Have had this for a little more than a year now - no issues from day one! Easy and quick set up - fairly easy instructions to follow! Super fast printing and decently quiet also! Definitely a solid and dependable B & W laserjet printer

I like this printer and would have given it 5 stars. I have two problems. It is a nightmare to setup. About 1 year ago I bought inexpensive an Epson inkjet AIN (MFP) and had it setup with USB, fax, wi-fi in about 10 minutes and has worked perfectly since. This printer took about 1 1/2 days to get it setup. I have been setting up computers and their connected components for myself and other for about 20 years so I am not a newbie to this but I kept getting in a loop of first one thing was setup and then setting up the next thing wouldn't work. Then when I got the second thing setup, the first thing stopped working. Come on HP, if Epson can make this easy on a inexpensive printer, why is your more expensive printer so difficult. Second problem, I have it setup to to be "always available" and "start printing immediately" but every few days, when I try to print wi-fi from my laptop running Windows 10, it says printer not available and I have to cycle it off and on to get it to work again. It is good for a day or two and then it happens again. Also, local wi-fi from my phone or tablet is spotty, even when standing with my mobile device right in front of the printer. Overall the printer prints well, has a lot of preferences settings, prints two sided perfectly, handles paper without problems when the printer is recognized. I bought this printer because it seemed to be the last one that will still work with my desktop computer with Windows XP. My last HP laserjet was the 1100 which almost always had paper handling problems and a inkjet that they refused to repair or replace when it broke after only one month. That made me hesitate buying another HP product but other than the problems listed in the beginning of my review, this seems to perform well.

DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE AND DRIVER FOR PRINTER M148DW. INSTALL SOFTWARE AND THEN RUN. THIS COULD TAKE 5 TO 10 MINUTES TO INSTALL THE PRINT TO THE WIRELESS NETWORK. FOLLOW THE DIRECTION ON COMPUTER SCREEEN.

This printer was very easy to setup and connect wirelessly. I’ve had previous printers that took 30min plus to finally get them to see the network. I didn’t have to enter any information. It just detected the network my computer was using and connected itself to the network. I was impressed! It’s a breeze to copy documents. I haven’t scanned to the computer yet, but I’m sure that’s also easy. It prints high quality. I am very satisfied with my purchase! No complaints yet!

Love this printer. Glad I ditched ink printers. I don't print much so this printer should fit my needs. This printer connects to the web via WiFi. I set this up and later decided I'm never going to use it. So I then set it up using a USB cord. It also has apps that allow you to print from phones and tablets. Again I set these up and then deleted the apps because I'm never going to use them. The worst part of this printer is the set up. It took basically 2 days to set up. The instructions were found in several places....different websites. Some had current info and clearly stated but some didn't have current info and were confusing. This made set up frustrating and very slow. I couldn't get the apps to work smoothly and since I wasn't going to use them, I deleted them. Same with WiFi. Overall I like the printer and it should be what I need. But HP clean up your instructions!!

We purchase this printer for our offices. It works excellent, no issues as of today (2 months). It looks better that the previous models because the paper sheets are enclosed. It work fast, even making copies. Very easy to setup, and easy to modify the settings. We will continue buying HP printers like in the past.

HP laser printer great quality and price, all the bells and more, love the eases of use, excellent print quality, many great features, love this printer would recommend to family and friends. Best buys products have some great deals on office equipment and Pcs and laptops with names I trust and can rely on.

This printer is better than I had anticipated it would be. It prints great, it copies great, it scans great. Printing on both sides of the page saves money. Replacing ink with toner saves money too. It's fast and easy to use. This is a quality printer I am going to enjoy!

Being a school teacher I do a lot of printing from home and needed something that was fast, efficient and didn't cost an arm and a leg. This printer fits the bill. I use it to do all my black and white runs when I'm in a pinch and need copies for my class the next day. Easy to use, easy to connect to home network. All around work horse for my needs.

This is my first laser after years of using inkjet printers. The set-up was effortless and quick. The speed and quality of the print is very good. Having always bought HP printers and expect this will last me years.

Speed is great, as is quality of printing. It’s a little louder than my previous laser, which was a Brother. But I don’t mind it. I did, however, have a jam after only a few weeks. It was easy to fix. Maybe the printer was hot, not sure. It did worry me a little. Overall, though, I think this printer is a winner!

Had it for a year now and it is trouble free. Prints and scans perfectly and the software installs and works flawlessly with my MacBook and iOS devices.

A little bit challenging to understand the setup instructions. But once I had it working I was surprised at how fast it prints. I still need to set up the scanning function. After the challenges with setting it up to print and particularly to be on my in-home wifi network, I'm not looking forward to navigating the scan set up. But as a basic b/w printer it has been great. It holds about 250 pages in its internal paper tray and also has a feeder on top. I like this especially for times when I'll need to scan a multi-page document and I don't need to keep opening the top to change out pages.

Network features are awesome. Can print directly from my phone both through the app and through Apple AirPrint. Super easy to set up. Great price.

Setup was a breeze. Prints fast and I love the double sided option.
