The quality of printing from this is very good, but once in a while when I print, it makes me choose what size on the printer itself. There maybe a setting change I need to make, but I think that should be a default. Make it a little more plug and play.

I have bought many printers and yet to find the right one. Usually if i buy one that lasts i will stick with the brand. This is the first time i have bought an HP and so far it has been easy to use and reliable. This printer is perfect for home and small office use.

    Not Friendly With Mac

I loved this printer.... to begin with. It printed beautifully, quickly, and it knew which tray I wanted to print to just by sensing where the paper was. I own a preschool and copies/prints are a huge part of my business. Everything seemed to be perfect! For two days. Then I started getting an error message: "Unable to print. File is corrupt." Suddenly I couldn't print ANYTHING. After much research, I realized that this error message was due to the fact that I was printing from my Mac with the latest updates. Apparently, it is a very common problem for Mac users. None of the suggested fixes solved the problem, and because the printer was all but useless to me, I returned it. The problem does not appear to occur with Windows computers, so hopefully, this is something HP can get fixed for future Mac owners. I really did love this printer's features and was sad that it didn't work for me.

We purchased this to replace a Brother Mfp which kept running out of ink (and became expensive). The Laserjet ink would last longer and the printer is more efficient. I have had no issues so far as we use it for business and personal use. I got a great deal on it so it was a no brainer.

    No double sided printing

Why would a printer be available without the capability to print on both sides of the page in this digital-happy age? I didn't dig too deep into the details of this printer, but I am surprised and extremely disappointed this printer does offer double sided printing (duplex printing). I went into the store and asked an associate for help finding a color laser printer that could connect wirelessly and could scan/copy, I was given a few options. I had my small children with me so I didn't have the time to get all the details about the printer, but was not informed it is only a one sided printer. Otherwise, I am happy with the printer and have used older models of this printer at work.

This is a good printer. I would have given it 5 stars; however, when I purchased it, it said it would duplex copy but it doesn't do it automatically. This is a hassle. Had I know I would not have purchased it. :-(

The staple of any small business or home office. Does an excellent job of printing in color. There is a driver issue with the scan to feature for MACs. You will need to call HP as the driver is NOT available online for download yet.

This printer replaced an expensive high speed copier/printer when my business switched to paperless software for our customers. We still needed color capabilities and still beeded a laser printer; this fit the bill. So far so good, very happy with this printer.

This is an excellent all in one laser color printer. It is very versatile and holds a large supply of ink. It also serves as a copier and fax machine. I am very happy with this purchase.

The HP Rep helped me find just the printer/scanner I needed. Set-up was simple and required no cables. I can print from any of three devices on my network. The color quality is outstanding. And the toner cartages are full size!

I like the HP printer line. This MFP is easy to setup and connect to LAN. Don't like the "starter toners" and the replacements are very expensive but my printing needs are small and it is nice to have all the functionality.

My previous copier was the older HP model that is very similar to this one. I think this model has made some nice improvements. The copier was harder to set up than most. The salesman warned me that the wireless set up was problematic. That is my only complaint.

I purchased this for two of my employees to share in my office and just 3 months after we purchased it, the printer started making weird noises and now has connection issues and jamming issues. HP Printing is no bueno. That’s the last time I fall for it.

This printer makes twice more pages than regular one ( 7000 versus 3000). The exchanged cartridge contains brand new drum( other brands does not have exchangable drums). Print ink never dries up !!! Versus not laser brands!!!!

This is a great printer, prints out pictures great. The only thing wrong is when u scan legal size it seems to cut of the top 1/2 inch. But I have not messed with it so I am sure I can fix it. Fast scanning and printing.

everything on this printer is excellent, the scanner software is the only thing that is somewhat complicated to use, but if you have a Mac, you can use Macs software and it works immediately.

I bought this to replace an ink jet for a small home based office. I wish I had done this long ago. This printer is so much better than an ink jet - I highly recommend this. Easy set up, easy to connect to network, crisp fast printing.

Was looking for new laser printer to replace my old inkjet that died. Settled on this one for all its functions, but overlooked the fact that it doesn't do 2 sided printing. Oh well, lesson learned, but still a good printer

Don’t know why I waited so long to buy a laser printer for Home. Totally wasted money all these year in inkjet and the ink cost more than the printers. This is so worth the money no need to buy ink for a long time.
