This product does not print 2 sided automatically. You must flip the copy manually to print 2 sided. I returned this item and purchased a Canon. I would not recommend buying this product.

Don't buy this printer if you're expecting to be able to automatically print both sides of the page. It's a manual process. Print one side, then reinsert the page and print the other side. Horrid!!!!!

This is an amazing printer until you have to buy ink for it and realize that you might have to dig in your retirement fund if you want to be able to afford printing again.

I do not like to write a bad comment but this time I feel like i have too. I've been a big fan of HP printer for a long time. I had a few HP printer in the past. But this product isn't delivering the result that HP advertises. Simply put, the printer bleed the color on the side of the paper. I reset and used the cleaned app several times but it doesnt work. I went down to the Bestbuy store in Pasadena. The HP rep recommended that it's cheaper to buy a new one. I hope HP reach out to me and we can discuss.

Looks like I may have to return this printer because I can’t get it to print on both sides. The more I learn about the printer features,I may need a different printer.

The ADF (automatic doc feeder) did not work at all. I rely on this feature to scan documents through quickly, and it jammed every time, even with just one page loaded.

this thing is cheaper than the ink you will buy. thats not the problem. i purchased this printer in 2018, and only 2 years later it died. it does not print at all. not only will I have to spend on ink to refill, but to repair this thing, when this printer costs $500, i think I will invest in another brand. I cannot recommend this printer to anyone.

This was a purchase, but i can use because the paper was jammed, every time i changed and again and again

Not too impressed so far. I have to get hold of tech support because the document feeder does not work.

I've owned this printer for 12 months and it never ceases to amaze me how inconsistent it is. I'll ask it to print 6 pieces of paper and maybe 1 or 2 will come out. Then it just sits there saying "printing" for 20 minutes. Then just goes into stand by mode... extremely aggravating. Cannot wait to destroy this thing when I can buy a new one.

Printer has a lot of glitches, talk to a friend that had one, and is having the same problem... wifi printing very slow, and mos of the time dies not work. Tried to return it.. they wouldn't take it back... extremely disappointed with the printer and with Best Buy customer service...

software doesnt work with windows 10 and HP support is terrible. I was on hold for 45 minutes before i decided to hang up and return the printer. That was a good preview of what it was going to be like dealing with HP support in the future. No thanks. I purchased a brother printer and am very satisfied with it.

By far the worst automatic feeder of any printer I have ever used. Bought one, would not scan one single file correctly. Took it back, exchanged it (anyone can get a lemon). Fed the first ten files flawlessly, then all heck broke loose. Never fed another correctly. Took it back. Bought an Epson scanner. Has never burped once........ yet.

This printer was said to have duplex printing. It does not. It was also slow.

piece of CRAP. hp used to be good, not anymore fuser roller bad after just over a year of light use. prints spots on the left side of the page document feeder and feeding documents jam for the most part will buy EPSON in the future

Although the quality of the device seems to be (typically for HP) top-rate, instructions are very poor. I don't see how a novice could ever get it installed and working. If you can't get it up and running, it only deserves a single star.

I could not get it to work at all. I consider myself a computer literate, this item was just a dead weight in my opinion. I returned it within the first week. I hope others have a better luck than me.

This was a replacement for the same model and we had use of it for less than one year, very low usage, and it went out.

1st one broke, 2nd cant scan more than 2 pages. HP used to be good. paying $400 for a printer that can't auto feed more than 2 pages is ridiculous. will have to look at Epson or Canon.
