Prints well when it works, doesn't work often.

I have had about 5 customer support phone calls, they get it back online and it works until I try it again. They said it was the internet provider, but it wasn't. They said it was the router, but it wasn't. I am beyond frustrated with this expensive printer.

MFP M477 fnw - aka BOAT ANCHOR!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Caveat Emptor on this "device". Spent one week trying to get any aspect of it to work - Replacing perfectly good but old Brother MFC to compliment new HP Windows 10 Omen. 20 Hours of my life I will never get back dealing with Service Error 49 and Fatal Error 200. Nothing worked and HP Support was useless. I suspect bad motherboard ... will give HP a chance to replace that and make it right - if not 50lbs of boat anchor back to Best Buy. PS: This device does not support Dual Band Routers - you must first download current firmware upgrade so it will at least work at 2.4Ghz in the presence of 5Ghz. Good luck with the rest ....

Worst Color printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This by far the worst Color printer I owned , all photos prints are grainy and dark, I use Photo shop for my brochures. Called HP and spent hours on the phone and at the end they want me to contact Photo shop blaming the problem on the Software which I've been using with other printers problem like in not the problem with the HP printer. Best Buy will not take the printer back because I'm couple of days pass their return policy. Now I've put the printer on for sale with a big loss.

Great printer that you can't use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By HP's own admission, this printer isn't up to speed. We have a 5 ghz router on ATT they told me was too fast for the printer and we'd need to downgrade. They also said there's an issue with Windows 10 where it can't connect to the printer. Buy this if and only if you don't have those two things then you will have a great machine at a great price. I wasted time and money messing with this. Kind of wish Best Buy gave me the heads up but that's likely why the price is so good.
