This printer is quick.and efficient, can't ask for more

I diidn't want to use my HP wireless color printer to print out a lot of all black text docs so I picked up this one. I couldn't get it to work wirelessly so I contacted HP support. To date I've been on the phone with them 3 times totaling close to 6 hours and still no solution. They say it's not any of my other equipment, it's definitely the printer. They claimed to escalate my trouble ticket to a higher guru and made an appointment for a callback for two days later. I waited around for nothing, then rescheduled with them, again to no avail. I got a couple responses from their online support forum, but the last one was technically way over my head. Besides which it shouldn't require so much research, time and effort on my part. My wireless color printer configured effortlessly. First bad experience ever with an HP product, but I'm taking this puppy back. I didn't pay for the "w" only to have to print via USB.

I like this printer & the service I got at BestBuy.

The print outs of this printer are excellent both in USB and wireless modes. Some people face problems while setting up printer for wireless use. A user must have a wireless LAN card (adopter) installed on his/her PC on which he/she intend to install wireless printer driver. At the same time the adopter must be connected to a wireless network (router) for successful installation and wireless printing. Then by using HP smart install or with the help of CD, complete the wireless mode installation following step by step on screen instructions. This printer is compact, light weight and very efficient for home and personal use.

I'm not happy that I can't print directly from my phone or tablet. My son says I can't return it because he opened the ink. I'd like a refund.

I would have given this 4 stars but I had a problem attaching this printer to my network!! HP does a lousy job of printer setup!!!

If you are using Windows 8 you're out of luck. HP has not developed any drivers for this printer. I took it back the next day.

Could not configure for wireless - spent nearly two hours on phone with HP tech - he finally gave up - I returned product

Wifi connectivity is spotty. Will disconnect automatically when not used for a period of time.

I've actually bought three of these now, two as gifts because I love mine so much. I'm still using the original one, four years after I bought it for $99 at Best Buy (the others I picked on sale for about $79 more recently). I don't print a lot of pages daily, but this little printer is quiet, easy to set up on the wireless network, and the toner lasts forever. I printed a 100 page grant application on it once- no problem. It has moved to several apartments across multiple states, and the boxing/unboxing/ratting around during moves did not phase it a bit. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars.

Turns out it was listed as new but was refurbished in original packaging. Had to take store credit

Keeps loosing association to network, died after 1 year.

still thinking about returning cuz we cant get it to print on the WIFI setting. Very frustrated. nobody can seem to figure it out, not sure why. can't get it even to print through our new router.

Had to return twice. Not reliable I would not recommend to anyone.

It shuts off all the time on its own. Takes time for it to warm up.

Very unhappy with the printer Does not perform well

After many frustrating hours, including an hour with tech support in India, the product failed to install. Tech support was also unable to establish a remote connection with my HP computer. Had to return the printer. Purchased a Brother laser printer which was ready for use within 15 minutes of unpacking. NOTE: The return to Best Buy was a great customer experience.
